A rare opportunity to rent our entire 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home! Come stay close to the action, while still having lots of privacy and space to unwind, in our recently renovated tropical sanctuary with parking and gorgeous outdoor dining room.
Our lovely home underwent a complete transformation in 2013 turning the original 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1941 plantation cottage into a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom dream home. Enjoy the modern luxuries of an on demand hot water heater, gas range, jacuzzi tub and rain shower, with the charm and comfort of old-style Hawaii. The fully stocked, open-concept kitchen and living room open up to an outdoor dining room that overlooks the backyard, with fruit trees and small vegetable garden. Our home is a surprisingly quiet little piece of paradise, only minutes away from Waikiki, beaches, UH Manoa, restaurants and shopping. Walk or bike to all easily, or drive if you prefer - there is ample parking for 3 compact cars or one large vehicle. Several bus stops are also close by, for regular service around town and Oahu. If you like to be within arms reach of the action, but away from the hustle and bustle, then this is a perfect location for you!

Interaction with guests
In the rare case that my husband or I are away from home, or get stuck at work, we will make other arrangements for check-in and make sure that there is someone reliable, who guests can contact if they have questions or concerns.
Our home is strictly non-smoking. Please, no smoking inside or around our property.
We love entertaining friends in our home, and hope that you will too, but we ask that any entertaining is restricted to small dinner parties. Absolutely no unregistered overnight guests.
One of the best parts about our house it that it's very quiet. Please help keep things peaceful. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am. Please make sure to wrap up outside gatherings by 9:30pm on weeknights and 10:30pm on weekends.

I am originally from Canada, but now live in Honolulu, Hawaii. I love to travel, and it was on one of my many adventures that I realized it was time for me to trade in my boots and tuque (Canadian for "beanie") for sunglasses and slippers (Hawaiian for flip flops). Oddly enough, I don't make it to the beach nearly as much as I should, but I do most of my traveling by bike or foot, which ensures that I get my daily dose of Hawaiian sunshine. I am an artist, a recreational gardener and cook, and a home owner. As a host, I take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and stylish space for my guests to enjoy. As a house guest, I consciously treat my accommodations with as much care as I would my own home.
