Jumie is well stocked for a day at the beach (e.g., chairs, umbrella, etc.). We were certain to go to Molokai Beach to spot dozens of large sea turtles. Very spacious, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom. The washer and dryer is a plus for those trying to minimize the amount of laundry you'd need to bring home.

Clean, comfortable, accommodating host, and great central location with quick access to restaurants or just about anywhere on Maui.

Great condo in a quiet, residential area of Kihei. You'll need a car to get around as the complex is not walking distance to shops. We really appreciated the fully stocked supplies such as shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent and beach toys. My only suggestion is for a new AC in the master bedroom - the temperature never got below 84 F, even with the fan on.

This apartment is really lovely and recommended. The location is the best, in the middle on the island and easily to get to any part of the island (in car). The apartment was wonderful, clean, with all the things needed to a great vacations!! If i return to Maui, i will use this apartment again. The beach is near to walk, but we use a lot the car to get to other many beaches along the island. I loved this island, and also the department! Strongly recommended!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. We both recommend it and would stay here again. Bed was comfortable, couch was comfortable. Jumie sent me an awesome list of sightseeing and restaurant suggestions, it was really useful. The beach chairs, umbrella and boogieboards were a nice touch, along with toiletries and sunblock. One thing to note, be prepared to make a supply run. When we checked in there was no spare toilet paper besides what was on the dispensers, and we couldn't find any facecloths, dishcloths or dishtowels. We made a run to Kmart and bought some cheap ones, no big deal. The towel rack was on the floor when we arrived, I let Jumie know and her cleaning staff showed up promptly to fix it for us. Check the dryer if you can't find towels, when we checked in they were all still in there. That said, having laundry facilities in the apartment was great, we were able to pack a lot less clothing. Also check the dishwasher if you can't find something in the kitchen. The previous guests had loaded it but didn't start it, so I had to handwash a bowl to have breakfast in the morning. Again, nice to even have one so I'm not complaining. Make sure you check in with the property manager (in the office right across the road) when you check in. He needs emergency contact info etc for guests.. we were not aware of this and the poor guy was trying to track us down the whole time we were there lol. He was nice about it though. Neighbours were all friendly and quiet. There are dogs and they do bark sometimes but we're used to that. Kids as well. It's a family friendly residential area, not a resort, so remember that people live there. It was pretty quiet all things considered, we had no issues. The birds sing like crazy in the morning so that pretty well drowns out anything else anyway. Coffee/breakfast on the lanai is a great start to the morning, watching the finches and lovebirds :) We did spot 2 roaches in the apartment, but you will not find a place on the islands that doesn't have roaches. They're a fact of life there, so be prepared. It's not an indication of a poorly maintained building at all, so don't freak if you see one. Location wise, it's not really walkable to anything useful, but it's a nice neighbourhood to go for a stroll. It's a very short drive to some of the nicer beaches on the island, we recommend Kamaole I or II, as well as grocery and drug stores, loads of restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Kihei is a great area. It's our second time staying in the area and we love it. It's also really close to the highway if you want to venture out of Kihei (definitely do) We definitely recommend a whale watching cruise - there are cheaper ones but go...

I love to travel to recharge and experience new/different things in life. I have travelled to more than 24 countries and love to revisit them all. Our next trip is a Alaska cruise. Future trips I have in mind are Cuba, Zimbabwe, Peru, Costa Rica, Georgia, Indonesia.

We also love snorkeling and diving. We go camping up in Mendocino, California few times every summer for abalone diving and we go to Florida during the lobster season.

We also work very hard when not travelling to enjoy all these things life is offering.
