“Hotel Seth” is a cozy 2 bedroom red brick house, built circa 1920 in Historic Portsmouth Village. Guests have described it as an urban cottage with Cape Cod and Montreal styles. The overall look and feel of the space is inspired by vintage art and music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. “Hotel Seth” is geared towards responsible and easy-going guests, who enjoy a more vibrant and colourful atmosphere than the average airbnb.
Pets are allowed, but not without asking first. I am taking a chance, but I love animals and trust that if you bring your pet, that you will make the extra effort to ensure that 1) the house or my property is not damaged, 2) that it doesn’t detract from my or other guests enjoyment of the house and 3) that it doesn’t cause me very much extra time in cleaning. Since I can’t take a deposit, if there are any damages due to your pet, I expect that I will be compensated immediately, by way of cash without issue. I do not expect that there will be problems, but I would like to continue to welcome pets based on repeated positive experiences. So far it has worked out very well and I’ve really enjoyed having them around.
The one rule is that there are NO PETS ALLOWED ON THE BEDS!!! They are new mattresses and I cannot afford to have them smelling. If I get one bad review saying that the bed smells bad it could have a disastrous effect on my airbnb business. I also cannot afford to get paw prints on the duvet covers, as they are very expensive and for the most part white. Please respect this one rule and bring your own bedding for your pet. Thank you.
If you would like to bring your pet/s, please let me know in advance and describe them accurately, including size, temperament, fur length and all potential issues, such as:
noise, chewing personal belongings, bathroom issues, biting or growling, scratching, whining etc…
Please note, I take absolutely no responsibility in the event that something unfortunate or tragic happens to your pet while he/she is here. Even if they are in my care at the time or if an accident happens directly as the result of something to do with the house or property, I cannot be held responsible. If you bring your pet, it is 100% at your own risk and you must let me know that you understand these terms before you bring them. I apologize for the formalities and thank you for your understanding on this matter.
