I created River Meadows LLC with Riverdance Lodge in 2005. My goal was to create the ultimate personal lodging experience and my wish is for all my guests to create wonderful memories and return year after year.
How it all began...
In response to a "for sale" ad in the newspaper, my first visit to the property was in the spring of 1988. My son, Josh and our golden lab, Honey was with me.
I recall finding the property in the early morning. There was only a primitive dirt road at the time and as I walked through the rough trail I wondered if I was in the right place. We wound down through the thick stand of Cottonwood trees and various wild bushes, then suddenly before us, was incredible open and beautiful meadow. I realized at that time I was standing at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Icicle Rivers.
I was in awe (and still am) of the surrounding snow capped mountains where the two rivers met in the early morning sunlight. After making my arm sore by throwing sticks for Honey and packing my six month old son, Josh over the river rock shores I realized I was some place very unique and special...and so my dream and creation of Riverdance Lodge began.
Now, almost 30 years later, Meadowdance Lodge and the Chalet was added. With all the dancing I've experienced on this river, I offer this next dance to you.
