Nice room. It has a comfortable bed and nice space for the bathroom. The location is close to the ferry (about 5 km) and close to stores and supermarkets. We recommend ask Frank and Nilda about the tours you can buy there. They are really kind giving the information you need.

Response from Frank:
Thanks for your kind words, we certainly do love to share what the area has to offer and the many tours available: dolphin and whale watching, sports fishing, the magical bioluminescence night tour, Isla Tortuga, Isla San Lucas is like an Alcatraz, other Island hopping and nearby surfer hipster towns or serene beaches... You gotta shut me up! LOL but we truly appreciate our guests support, like yours, without it, we wouldn't be here! Thank you, Nilda

Really clean, well maintained property with spacious rooms and good WiFi. Great location for the Paquera ferry or kayaking in the bioluminescent bay. Excellent communication and helpfulness from Frank and staff.

I went on the night kayaking tour of the biolumenscent bay the night before taking the ferry to Puntarenas and Mapi's was exactly what I was looking for as a quick overnight stay. The location, staff, and restaurant were great!

Friendly and helpful staff, big room, hot shower and in a calm neighbourhood where there is not much to do without a car. We saw some hummingbirds in front of our room which was really nice. Overall recommended for an overnight stay, but breakfast would be nice. Mind you they pro…

We encourage all our guests to ask what to do in the area? If you don't have transport, there is the bus right across the street, that can take you to places like Tambor, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa and Montezuma that are tourist friendly hipster towns... When you don't ask or read our detailed listing, you may miss out =( We try to keep our prices low and only having an average 60-70% occupancy, it makes it very challenging to offer much more but we hope one day, as that continues to improve, we can offer breakfast and other upgrades! =) It's why we will remain grateful to your support, THANKS!! We stayed at the cabins since they were so close to the ferry and we wanted to catch the early one without having to drive from other towns in the peninsula. It also gave us the chance to spend the afternoon in Curu National Park and do the bioluminescence tour without having to …

Mapi's cabins are an excellent first stop in Nicoya peninsula after getting off the ferry. It's conveniently located not just to the ferry and Pacquera but also to the bioluminescent kayak tour which I really recommend. The cabin itself was clean, cool, and had fast wifi. Check…

I enjoy fishing on my time off or making time for fishing, I found my niche in Costa Rica! I'm a family man and felt Paquera Costa Rica, was a peaceful place to relax and made it our second home. I believe you don't have to break the bank when traveling and staying at Mapi's C…
