Spacious mini villa in a garden with new pool, jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen and living area. Center of La Paz 3 blocks from the Malecon.

The space

Spacious mini villa in beautiful lush garden. Gated and secure property.
2 stories guest house. Stunning architecture, bedroom loft with garden views.
We are located 3 blocks from the 'Malecon', the beach and Marina La Paz. Walk to everywhere.

Wake up to the sound of the church bells, at a distance you may hear a chicken or the water man driving down the street delivering water to the 'abuelitas'. From this great location our guests can enjoy all the flavors and colors of La Paz. This is real Mexico. Just a short walk to little 'hole in the wall' restaurants or some of the city's best taco stands. We are 3 blocks to the famous Rancho Viejo, aim towards the beach, follow the smoke and you'll find it!

The house is in a large garden with access through our home with a new pool and jacuzzi and comfortable furniture to enjoy the outdoor living lifestyle of Baja. The outside eating area is equipped with a proper Weber gas grill. There is a charcoal grill as well. Most importantly there is a hammock for naps. The new outdoor kitchen has everything you need.

We provide an ice chest and towels and chairs for the beach. All the windows have lined curtains for privacy. The bedroom loft has a queen size bed, and the living room has full size sofa/bed. Enjoy high quality bedding and linens. There is WiFi and AC. Private entrance and gated parking. No children.

Must love dogs! We have a large friendly dog (Jelly Bean) and now a rescue (Mimi Coyotte). Mimi is still a bit shy, she was found emaciated by the side of the highway in January 2017. She was afraid of her own shadow. Doing much better everyday with love and kindness and her big sister Jelly Bean looking after her.
*She is bilingual.

Christina and Kevin were wonderful hosts, picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station, gave wonderful information about restaurants and activities to do in La Paz. The casita was perfect for us (a couple), centrally located with every amenity. Although you pass through the main house to reach the casita, and share the pool area with the main house, we felt complete privacy and had the pool to ourselves. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We felt like we are staying at on our family member's house. This lovely couple offers a great accommodation for their guests. They transmit the love and tranquility of the city. Everything is as described. Location is great because you are close to everything you need. Nice swimming pool to refresh your self. Looking forward to visiting them again or having them over in our home in San Diego. :)

Great hosts, super welcoming. The casita was clean and the Christine and Kevin went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Jellybean was a sweetheart too! The casita may be a bit tight for 3 or more but we got along well and had a great time in La Paz.

Staying at Christine's Casita was an unforgettable and truly enjoyable. We loved everything about it. Basics: - Clean, clean, clean. - Very comfortable bed and wonderful bedding. - Great AC unit... made for a very comfortable sleep. - Parking within the compound gates. - Beautifully designed and overall, very comfortable. - Breakfast: A fantastic start to our day. Christine's culinary talents are remarkable and each breakfast was different and more delicious than the previous... And quite hardy. Yummy!! Location: Great location for staying in La Paz. Both Christine and her husband Kevin made excellent recommendations as to where to go in the area (food and activities). We felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. Note that to benefit fully of the Baja California Sur experience, one must rent a vehicle. We rented a 4x4 Jeep and went off-roading and discovered new locations everyday... what a treat. Overall: Our host Christine (and Kevin and Jellybean) was VERY attentive and made our stay memorable. Simply lovely. Enjoy!!

What a delight! First of all, we highly recommend visiting La Paz. It's a great town with an authentic pulse- lots to do, great food, affordable, and some of the most beautiful beaches I've seen (and I've been to some of the most incredible small islands in the Caribbean). Staying in Christine & Kevin's casita was perfect for us. Christine & Kevin were perfect hosts who gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our visit... and provided us with a truly scrumptious breakfast that kept us going until mid-afternoon. The casita is outfitted with everything you need, is very private, nicely furnished, and located close to everything. We will be back! Cheers

La maison de Christine et de Kevin est tout simplement magnifique, un havre de paix dans le centre de La Paz. Propre, fonctionnelle, décorée avec goût, idéalement placée. La piscine est vraiment superbe et surtout fort agréable après une bonne journée.

I am originally from Quebec, Canada and my husband from Heidelberg, Germany. We spent a few years in Los Angeles, CA and this year decided to get out of the rat race and do what we really want to do. Live in Mexico. We are full time residents of La Paz now. We love water sports, scuba, fishing, spearfishing, snorkeling and hiking in the local mountains. Between the 2 of us we speak 5 languages. French, English, Italian, German and Spanish. We are known as very hospitable, friendly people.
