We had a wonderful stay with Kate and her three little ladies and were looked after very well throughout our stay. The room is really nicely decorated, much bigger than in the picture and got an en suite. We also enjoyed the tea and cookies provided in the room. The breakfast was lovely and is served in one of the great rooms of the manor. The manor itself is perfectly situated in the Cotwolds. From there you can easily drive to Cheltenham, visit lovely villages in the area or explore one of the many national trust places, walks and hikes. We can highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

We could not have been more pleased. Kate fixed us fine breakfasts every morning and even did our laundry for us. We used her home as a base for five days and enjoyed every bit of our stay. As a bonus we met the very sweet young ladies of the house: Annabelle, Freya and Flo. Bath, Stratford on Avon, Blenheim Palace and Whit Horse Hill, among others, all within in to-hour drive. Also Avebury and Stonehenge. Thanks, Kate.

We were made to feel extremely welcome by Kate & her family, almost feeling like part of their family by the time we left. Kate was caring, considerate, friendly, helpful, going beyond her host duties on more than one occasion. The area was fantastic, the manor house that we stayed in was like something out of a period drama, absolutely gorgeous. Amazing part of the UK, lots of lovely long walks & if you were missing the hustle and bustle of a town, then Cirencester is a mere 10 miles away - but who wants a town when you can have the fabulous scenery & such a great place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Kate, what an amazing job she did of looking after her guests & a young family at the same time. There is one local pub, a brief 20 minutes walk away, where it seems that the whole village gathers, but that's brilliant, what an atmosphere it creates, community together & the landlord a fascinating character. I can highly recommend staying at Wishanger Manor, we definitely would like to return to the Manor & to Kate. Thank you for looking after us Kate, we feel like we made a wonderful new friend in you. Kate went to great lengths to make us welcome at this fantastic house. Kate demonstrated excellent flexibility when we needed to make an unplanned and late adjustment to our trip. She gave us information leaflets for things to do and also local information regarding walks and good places to eat. The description of the property was spot on. If anything we would say that the property was undersold in the description and the place is even better than the photographs portrayed. In about every aspect this property exceeded our expectations. The open fire in the homely lounge was a particular highlight for us. In this property you are more likely to be awoken by a pheasant than a vehicle. The suite that we were given was separated from the main house by its own private, steep staircase. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was expansive. The setting could not be more rural. Being close to the small picturesque hamlet of Wishanger and within a couple of minutes of Miserden, this place could not be more peacefully positioned. Our one regret - that we could not stay longer. We would definitely like to return.
