Thanks to Elizabeth, my family and I had a nice stay in Kaikoura. It's a very big house with much space, so we really enjoyed cooking there. Elizabeth is very nice and showed us everything that we may need. It was a great experience with my family there.

This is a fantastic place to stay, it's really spacious and has a lot of character. It surpassed my expectations and wished we had more time to spend an extra night or two. Wonderful views and great welcoming from the host who went to great lengths to help make the best of our time in lovely Kaikoura, even booking us in at the Pier Hotel with window seat after our kayaking. The whale watch tour was spectacular, book well before you go to avoid disappointment. You won't regret staying here or in Kaikoura.

We cannot say enough on how wonderful it was to stay at the cottage, words fail to express how much we enjoyed staying there. Liz, is an amazing host, very kind, very helpful and very approachable. This helped to make our holiday feel even more special. The cottage has all you would need, and has such a warm homely feel to it, the cleanliness was exceptional, especially the bathroom and kitchen. The garden we had to ourselves was so stunning, full of beautiful flowers and well kept. There is so much to do in Kaikoura, and we would highly recommend you pay a visit to Poppys - to enjoy a real homemade ice-cream. Everyone in the town makes you feel so welcome and there is a genuine community spirit. Despite the sadness of the earthquake they suffered last November everything is up and running, so don’t let that put you off making a visit to this lovely part of New Zealand. Also, there is so much more to Kaikoura than Whale Watching, so an overnight stay is not enough, you need more time to explore the area, and we are already planning our next visit.
