We had such a wonderful stay at Nether Farm Barns, the place is truly delightful. The 'Barn End' is absolutely perfect for a couple. It is a beautifully designed contemporary space which also retains its historic character. On the ground floor there is a lovely and very well stocked kitchen including basics like salt, pepper, tea, coffee etc and also washing up liquid/sponges etc. It was a lovely surprise arriving to delicious home made cookies, plus bread, milk eggs and butter! The living and dining area is a real highlight - a double height room with a wood burner, which makes the whole space really cosy and warm. Upstairs is a lovely double bedroom with a view over the fields and an amazing freestanding bathtub, plus a shower room. Note if you are very tall you might have to duck in a few places! Lots of little extras are provided, we were very impressed by all the attention to detail. Locationwise, the property is part of a working farm and feels very quiet and rural. However it was easy to find and only a 20ish minute walk into the town centre, along a footpath by the main road. If you prefer to drive there is plenty of parking in Ashbourne too. Lots of amenities, supermarkets, nice independent shops, pubs etc. We used our stay as a base for exploring the local walks and south Peak District. Pam very kindly lent us an OS map and some print out guides of routes. Dove Dale was a particularly lovely walk about 20 minutes drive away. Communication with the hosts Pam and Tamsyn was particularly great, they were very helpful and flexible with our booking. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Having stayed at many airbnb's, I can say that Pam's is one of the best. The barn is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, it's spacious and so comfortable. We loved the enormous bath (as did our 1 year old!) and super comfy bed. The setting is so peaceful, its really perfect for a relaxing escape. Pam and Tamsyn looked after us so well, our only regret being that we didn't stay longer! We'll definitely be back!

Nice quite barn. Great communication and some nice touches such as fresh bread and eggs on our arrival. The only negative was the wifi was down for about 50% of our stay.
