Thank you for your honest feed back. We are sorry that your stay at our cottage wasn't stellar! Our place is not a modern home or condo and we hope that folks who book with us are aware of this and will be happy and comfortable in a cozy 1950's lakeside cottage with no TV and an old fashioned claw foot tub. We understand that these are very different experiences and hope that our listing and all of our photos represent clearly the vacation experience that guests are looking for. We hope you were able to enjoy the suggestions we left for your grand daughter to enjoy in the neighborhood at The Fall Foliage Festival and all of the other wonderful things there are to do in the area.

What a special place! A quiet, off-the-beaten path cottage on a beautiful pond in Vermont. If you are looking for glitz and glamour, don't stay here. If you are looking for peace and quiet in an idyllic natural setting, this is the home for you.

Thank you so much Sian! You and your family have been wonderful! I was really touched by the poetic entry your Dad left in our guest book. We especially love sharing our sweet place with people like him and like you who really appreciate it and we are so happy that you all used the Sauna! It's also so great that you got to see the new baby Loon and the Bald Eagle! We will all hope they don't meet each other! For me, if I can't be at our cottage all Summer as I wish I could, it means so much to have people like you enjoying it and caring for it the way you did! We welcome you back ANY time! Thanks again for choosing our place and have a great Winter!

Thanks Barbara, I was so happy to find the beautiful painting of the pond that one of your gang made on a smooth rock and left for us with the date of your stay on the back! What a treasure! So glad you all enjoyed your stay!
