This is a truly amazing place to stay. The hosts were incredibly generous throughout our entire stay. They made us breakfast in the morning and even upgraded us to the room overlooking the lake since it wasn't booked the weekend we were there. The views of the lake are stunning. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

The hosts were welcoming, including great breakfast conversation with Malcom and his openness to share historical perspectives of the area, including important sites to see. Jamila makes one of the best fruit salads, this health way to start each day was appreciated. The private, sandy beach was stunning. The accommodations in this historic and loved home were more than expected. We look forward to our next visit in 2018.

This place is the best kept secret in the county. This home of over 115 years of age is a walk back into history. Very well kept, clean, views from every window of nature and the bay at its best. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of high quality. Sharing the bath was never a problem, it's super clean, great shower, towels, extras. The breakfast are fantastic, organic fresh fruit salad that is the best! Good coffee and host. Don't think of staying any where else, if you want the ritz and all the glamour go elsewhere. If you love history, peaceful calming environment this place is it! You won't regret it,

Malcolm's place had the most amazing views. I have to admit the idea of no heat in our bedroom made me somewhat skeptical of our comfort but the electric mattress pad helped tremendously. It was a cool night but we left our door open so as not to miss the amazing sounds of the water and we were quite comfortable. Our hosts were very congenial and having a breakfast by the fireside was so nice. If you want some of the best views ever I would recommend you stay at Malcolm and Jamilla's.

Malcolm and Jamila have a beautiful place in a great location, right on the banks of Lake Michigan. They're clearly in this to meet people and trade stories. I'll be coming back, for sure.
