Nori's place is possibly one of the best value you could get in Paris. It is a very peaceful neighborhood, yet bustling in variety during the afternoons as there is a farmer's market/street market of some sort around the corner closer to one of the main streets and center of Clichy. Nearby, you will find many kebab shops, several grocery stores, a pharmacy, a fountain park, a McDonald's, a few sushi restaurants, and other bars/restaurants. The metro is within a few blocks of walking distance. With the metro, you can literally get anywhere in Paris with a metro/bus/train pass. Our stay was for a week long, so we got ourselves a weekly pass for about 27 Euros and it got us everywhere anytime we needed. You can purchase one of these pass at any information desk in the Metro. They will require you to get yourself a photocopy of your photo on your ID and paste it onto the pass card. As for the city of Paris itself. It is a magnificent and lovely city with so many things to see and do. A week's stay is just not enough for us, and I will hope to come back to the city in the future to see more of it. After each day's exploration of the city, going back to Nori's place is always a comfort. With a wonderful sized queen's bed, a kitchen for cooking, some fridge space for your own groceries, an available washer, great wifi connection, and a decent view of the city from the fourth story. The only catch is it being on the fourth floor, and no lift available. The walk up each time is a good exercise. Nori is very communicative throughout check-in process, during, and will guide you through check-out process. Her friend, Aldric was there when we checked-in and he was a great help in giving us all the details with the metro card, gave us useful maps of the city and metro, and gave us a full tour of all the available amenities in the apartment. All in all, we can't thank them enough for their help and hospitality.

Nori's apartment was adorable and comfortable to stay in. The entire building was quiet and clean and relatively safe. However, it is a bit of a ways to the metro and it is not a very convenient line. Most everything is 40-50 minutes away and you nearly have to leave the neighborhood to do anything (eat out, shop, hang out, get coffee). It built a very big bill for transportation. If your looking for a quiet stay away from the tourist track this was just right. For young people, it was not a fun neighborhood to stay in.

I fully understand your point, however, to be into paris city center walkable close to everything, similar listing are about 30/40€ more per night.

Nori's place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our vacation. The place is close to the metro and has a few restaurants near it. Getting around Paris was easy as a plus you also get to see the top of the Eiffel Tower from the window. My boyfriend and I are glad to have chosen this place for our vacation.

Although we did not have the opportunity to meet Nori, she left everything in place so that we would have a pleasant stay. She fit in our request last minute and was very communicative. Her place is lovely and close to public transportation. I recommend staying here!
