Interaction with guests
I am usually easy to reach through email or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) (except on Shabat and Jewish holidays).
Other things to note
Electricity is included in the rent (under the condition of reasonable use).
I will send you a picture of the electricity meter taken just before your arrival in the apartment.
Please help conserve energy and prefer the use of the ceiling fans (present in all rooms) to the AC in summer. The apartment is usually quite cool even in summer.
And please remember to shut down appliances and AC (or heat in winter) before you go out.
Note that our large terrasse is exposed to sometimes extreme weather (from very hot dureing the day in summer to sometimes heavy rain or snow in Winter). As a consequence, it can get dusty very fast. I keep fabric to put on the seats in the little closet outside our apartment door. Please remember to put them back after use, so that they stay clean!
Israeli passport holders must pay an extra 17% for VAT.
Foreign passport holders, please send me a picture of your passport for VAT exemption.
The kitchen is dairy / vegetarian . Please do not cook or bring in meat products. Milk, cheese, eggs and fish are OK.
No smoking in the apartment .
The terrasse is shared with one other family, our downstairs neighbors.
Respect the downstairs 'neighbors right to quiet , especially when coming up at night.
Please read the appliances' instructions before using them to avoid mishaps and always feel free to contact me with any questions ( concerning the apartment, Jerusalem , Israel) .
Electricity is comprised in rental price under the condition of reasonable use ( up to NIS 15 a day). I will send you a picture of the electricity meter at check in and check out time). Please help conserve energy by using blinds during the day, curtains, and switching off electric appliances when you go out.
If you need to check out later than 11 am (10 am on Fridays), I will try to be flexible whenever possible (that is if no guest is arriving that day). It will always be possible to leave your suitcases with me for about another 3 hours while i prepare the apartment for the next guests).
