This was a great choice for three nights in London. The apartment is located about 0.5 miles from Earl's Court tube station so a relatively short walk to get quick access to central London. The surrounding buildings, church and park (opposite) are beautiful. It feels like a very comfortable and safe location. We were met on time by a D Collection representative who made us feel very welcome and showed us around. We had several contact numbers in case of problems/emergencies but didn't have to call anyone. The apartment is on the fourth (top) floor of the building but as long as you don't mind stairs, this wouldn't be a problem. Furnishings, beds and décor were good. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms spacious. The bathroom was the room that needed some attention. Although it was perfectly functional, compared to the rest of the apartment it felt neglected and in need of an update. The cream carpets had also taken a number of spills and were looking warn in places. However, for the money we paid these are minor issues. Three or four people could stay without getting in each other's way! The television and wifi were great. Having a little coffee machine and some supplies was a really nice touch. We literally didn't hear anyone from the neighbouring flats/apartments. I'm sure there were plenty of other people in the building but they were very quiet! Although the apartment is opposite a small park, a fair amount of noise came from a nearby road (A3220) which was busy from the early hours into the evening. Windows kept most of the sound out and we were tired enough to sleep through the morning rush hour! All in all, this was a great choice for our stay. It was easy to walk into Kensington and visit locations such the Victoria and Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, Harrods and the Royal Albert Hall. I would be very happy to make a return visit.

We immediately felt welcomed into our new London home for the week. The hosts communication was excellent which made the whole process very easy. The location is great and easy to access all of the local public transport. The entry of the building itself was a little off putting but the apartment itself was well looked after and maintained. It felt homely and was very comfortable for our stay. The beds were excellent and despite being there for some of the hottest days London has seen in quite a while, we had a lovely breeze due to being on the fourth floor, which made sleeping in the unusual heat surprisingly pleasant. Would definitely recommend the property and would be likely to stay again. Great value for money. Great location. Great host. Great stay.

To be honest, I never met my host, only a employee of the company who superficially showed me the apartment. My host is a company, not an individual. The apartment is dusty, the sofa is dirty, cutlery is sparse, there is no television set, there is no garbage can, and even no tea-pot .... in London! Amazing. In addition, electric power supply to some of the electric radiators is a makeshift job. Some electric connections are dangerous. To be honest again, this is an experience that I would not recommend to friends, and to anyone.

Response from D Collection:
Thanks for staying with us! Apologise for your jumper. Our cleaner team has the order to throw away all the food and items they find in the fridge. Your jumper was in the freezer, so our cleaner threw it away. We usually keep and send back the forgotten belongings of our guests. But your jumper was in the freezer and the cleaner made her task. Nobody of our staff wanted check the bins and open the rubbish bags to look for your jumper. We can´t force them to do something like that. Once again sorry about it.

This flat was nice and clean and bigger than expected. The kitchen is not for much cooking but the basics are there and it worked just fine for us (I stayed in the flat with my two children for a few days). The host was really nice and let us leave our luggage before we could get the keys. She also responded very quickly to my questions on email. The flat is placed within walking distance from the station Earls Court and right next a small and lovely park. Peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. I can only recommend the place and would probably stay there if we travel to London again.
