We operate as a more traditional style bed and Breakfast. 2 night minimum on Weekends (Fri, Sat or Sun)
Sadly due to Covid19 we have had to suspend our breakfast buffet/indoor dining. however we are offering a small take away snack to start your day.

This beautiful, casual, historic home, located in a residential neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the beach, is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay and the town. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay.

AVAILABLE : The Crows Nest
The "CROWS NEST" of our historic Craftsman house - it was used as an observation room during the war. Beautiful and bright with 180 degree + window views with shared 2 bathrooms (1 full bath and a half bath) in private home, a one person double bed (if you are over 6' it might be too short for you), hardwood floors with natural fiber area rug, sitting/desk area, wireless internet, Towels and a spa Bath Robe. We supply Dr bronners soap, shampoo and conditioner. We also provide ear plugs for those light sleepers.
Continental breakfast served each morning in the dining room, featuring an organic and/or natural selection. Iron/ironing board available upon request.
Rooms are cleaned with environmentally friendly products.

We are located less than a mile from Del Monte Beach where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea lions, otters and various ocean birds of this protected marine sanctuary. We are also minutes from the Laguna Seca Race Track, the Monterey Fairgrounds (Jazz festival, Blues Festival!) and of course, if golf is your pleasure, Monterey Bay is the place to come!

Our floors are 100 years old so please remove your shoes.
No smoking in the house. 10yrs of age and older please.
We do have an outdoor cat and a small dog who does visit in the house but does not spend time in the guest rooms.

Seaside is now collecting a 12% TOT tax (occupancy tax). Upon completion of your reservation request, we will send you a request for the 12% tax. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Please remove your shoes as our floors are 100 years old. No smoking in the house. Quiet time is 11pm - 7am, Please be mindful of our white linens and towels. There will be a charge of $10 for any ruined item.
