We arrived at about midnight, and Simone was so very welcoming! She immediately gave us a glass of wine and a comfortable seat on her beautiful terrace. While Simone was away working for some of our stay, she provided a lot of really useful information about BA and her neighbourhood, and was always available for questions. She had arranged for a friend to look after the house, and he was also very friendly and capable. The neighbourhood doesn't feel at all touristy, and the house itself is quirky and gorgeous. We stayed for 2 months, and our favorite place in BA is this roof terrace! Thanks Simone.

I had a great time staying in Simone's lovely quirky apartment in Barrio Balvanera. The AirBnB listing is accurate, and everything functioned well - from the washing machine and gas stove, to the heater and air conditioning (in Spring temperatures fluctuate wildly). The barrio the apartment is located in is certainly more "local" than upmarket alternatives such as Palermo, but with Carlos Gardel murals around every corner this simply adds to the charm of the apartment. Buenos Aires is a busy city, so the streets can be noisy, but as the apartment is located at the back of the building it remains nice and quiet - a calm sanctuary from all the hustle and bustle. The location is very good for heading anywhere in the city at anytime of day, with two subte (underground) train lines within 5 minutes walking distance, and many buses less than a minutes walk away. Taxi drivers had no problem finding it either. At your convenience also is a small supermarket opposite the road, as well as local bakeries, butchers and grocers. Nearby ( 1 km) are the larger shops such as Abasto mall, and Coto supermarket. There were a couple of instances of the water and Internet cutting out (despite monsoon-esque weather - no leaks!), but in this regard the house is at the mercy of the antiquated South American infrastructure, and Simone promptly resolved these issues(in the former instance by providing fresh bottled water for all. Finally, Simone is a very generous person, and was more than willing to dispense advice or do me a favour if it was within her means. She set some very common sense house rules to ensure a harmonious ambience in the house, and I also enjoyed very much our evening discussions about tango, travel and life in Buenos Aires. I hope to return someday to continue these discussions! Muchísimas gracias para todo Simone, suerte hasta la próxima!

Simone is a very nice host who made us feel at home in her beautiful apartment. She gave us many tips and advices. The place was really clean, peaceful and comfortable. The mattress is a very good one. The communication before arriving was great and we had some very interesting discussions. The neighborhood is quiet, it's very close to the Carlos Gardel museum, Abasto shopping center and it's walking distance to two metro lines and many buses. There is a supermarket opposite and many convenient shops around. There is a nice rooftop which will surely be appreciated in summer. We recommend it warmly.

We had a great stay at Simone's. It's a very cosy and warm place. The room is of good size and the additional shower is very helpfull. The whole place is very clean and the common rooms are perfect for chatting, relaxing and cooking! We totally appreciated Its position in a more authentic and very central barrio of the city. You can get everything you need in walking distance and there are plenty of busses going to everywhere. Nonetheless the street is very quiet and not one of the overcrowded and noisy main streets. Simone is a very open minded and supportive host and has a lot of useful tips for your stay in Bs.As. We would totally recommend to stay here, especially for a longer period as we did.

During my staying at Simone’s place I had the following impressions about her: She is a pleasant person, great host, personal attention, friendly, and very attentive for your comfort. Every question or request that I had she addressed it well and in a promptly matter. Just the way she communicates through e-mail before coming to her place that is the way she was during my staying. About her apartment I have the following comments: the place was spotless clean, bed very comfortable, good kitchen amenities and washing machine, the building is in a nice part of city, convenient (walking distance) to restaurants, groceries, public transportation, stores, quiet neighborhood, the room was equipped with all you need such as Wi-Fi, working desk, shower, shelves, curtains, natural light, etc. If I visit Buenos Aires, Argentina I would definitely rent again and I am looking forward to be her guest again in the future!
