The apartment is super nice, the only thing that makes this place so cheap is the stairs that are not so good because the bulding is old, in fact they are horrible in shape! 4 floors of stairs....close to almost everything 5 min to Ramblas. Plaza Catalunya, Catedral. Raval is a cosmopolitan

Located in the city center walking distance to all main atractios as a Barcelona catedral, gotic area, born, beach and port etc
El Raval (Catalan pronunciation: [əɫ rəˈβaɫ]) is a neighbourhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The area, especially the part closest to the port, was also informally known as Barri Xinès or Barrio Chino, meaning "Chinatown". El Raval is one of the two historical neighborhoods that border La Rambla, the other being the Barri Gòtic, and contains some 50,000 people.

An area historically infamous for its nightlife and cabarets, as well as prostitution and crime, El Raval has changed significantly in recent years and due to its central location has become a minor attraction of Barcelona. It currently has a very diverse immigrant community (47.4% of its population was born abroad, ranging from all South America, Pakistanis and Filipinos, to a more recent Eastern European community, especially from Romania). It is home to many bars, restaurants, and night spots.

At 400 mts Paral·lel is a Barcelona metro station, located under Avinguda del Paral·lel, between Ronda de Sant Pau and Carrer Nou de la Rambla. It is served by L3, is the southern terminus of L2, and also the lower terminal of the Funicular de Montjuïc.[2][3][4]

The station has two levels. The platforms for lines L2 and L3 are situated side by side at the lower level, with each line having a pair of side platforms. A direct connection is provided between the platforms for Zona Universitària (L3) and Pep Ventura (L2). The funicular terminus is at the upper level, with side platforms on either side of the single terminal track. Transfers between the funicular and lines L2 and L3 are inside the ticket barriers of the station, and from a fare perspective the funicular is treated as another line of the metro

The flat is in a central zone, near to Las Ramblas and to Barcelonetta, but is very unsafe. None of the people there seemed locals. We were robbed while wainting to check in. Lala didn't asnwer our first calls(she called back after 25 min when we were at the police station). Atfer that we communicate well using the messages, she gave us the information we need, but we never met. The flas was clean, we had all we needed. I have to mention that there were ants on the tables. We tried the oven but it didnt seem to work properly. We were only 2 and the space was perfect. It fits for 4 but only if the other 2 are willing to sleep on a mattress. Last thing to mention : is at floor 4/5, no elevator - keeps you in shape..

The flat was dirtier than I thought and even smaller. The neighboord is ok, but I can understand if someone would not like it. I could not keep in touch with her when we had to check in and the guy supposed to check us in literally throw us the apartment's keys from the third floor almost hitting a guy walking on the street. If you just want to hang out and not living the flat is ok tho.

We had a great (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication was really easy, the apartment was really clean and the location was ideal. It is in walking distance of all the main attractions with some cute restaurants and bars nearby. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again! The stairs were absolutely fine. The apartment is high up but it is a good bit of exercise at the end of the day :-)

Lala´s apartment was really best choice. We love the apartment, we love Raval quarter. You can feel like real citizen of Barcelona. The apartment is nice and clean. It is really in city center, walking distance everywhere. We stayed 5 days and still don´t see everything we want. Lala was nice, sent us many useful informations.

Very close to the main attractions and food. The exact location of the flat is at an alleyway or "a small side street" off the main road. It felt quite dodge at night walking alone. Wouldn't recommend walking alone there. The flat is nice and clean and spacious. And the host was always quick. Tk respond to messages.

Nice spot for access to La Rambla and the beach. 10 minutes from Mercado de La Boqueria and main metro lines. Very clean and cozy.
