We offer a beautiful house with a lovely garden in Brønshøj, a part of Copenhagen. The house was designed in 1936 by the famous Dadish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen and built in the typical functionalist style with much daylight, simple lines and good materials and details. Among his most famous works as an architect is the Bellavista house in Klampenborg (1933-34), Bellevue Theatre (1935-36), Denmark's National Bank (1965) and Saint Catherine's College in Oxford (1964-66).
We have beautiful outdoor facilities with several sunny terraces around the house, where you can enjoy your breakfast and dinner. The house has a kitchen-dining room and living room, both with access to the terraces. On the ground floor we also have two rooms with two double beds, a bathroom with a toilet and an additional separate toilet. In the basement we have two large rooms with two double beds, TV and a toilet and shower.
We also have fast WiFi, Apple TV, Mac, TV flat screen and HiFi.
Our home is located 4.5 km from the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen, and you can reach downtown in 20 minutes by bus, metro or bicycle. We live close to Utterslev Mose, where you can take a walk or stroll around and look at the water and wildlife. A few hundred meters away we have stores with groceries and cafes. On the way to the center of Copenhagen there are plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes etc. 1.5 km away is the newly built Bellahøj aquatic center with both indoor and outdoor pools and recreational surroundings. At Copenhagen's north side you will find Bellevue beach and on the east side Amager Beach, both with very fine bathing. Another possibility is to go to one of the baths in the harbour of Copenhagen, where the water is nice and clean for a swim.
The bus 5 minutes walk from the house takes you directly to the town center, or you can go by Metro about 1 km away.
The local neighborhood in about 500m distance offers the local square, cafès, minor shops and supermarkets, and another few hundreds meters away you find the 2,5 km2 protected area called Utterslev Mose, where you can do your morning jogging, take a walk or a bike ride.
