Our mountain Villa is situated in a private and secure Eco Estate.
It is tastefully furnished and comfortable with a family orientated atmosphere.
The pool area is a private and enclosed entertainment area wrapped in natural stone with a solar heated pool and indigenous back yard where kids can explore the paths and play safely in a large jungle gym play area.
The 11 CCTV cameras is not only set-up for security but also for peace of mind to keep tabs on the family from the kitchen monitor while pouring drinks or preparing meals.
The extra large kitchen is the heart of the home with a 8 seater dining table and large indoor fireplace for atmosphere or indoor barbeque(braai)
The large semi enclosed front stoep offers a wind free barbeque(braai) and views over the beautiful valley of Hout Bay towards the Sentinel Mountain.
The house has mountain views from all the windows and is truly a place your soul can rest and your spirit can dance.
The nature of the estate does not allow for loud parties and therefore the house is not right for those who would like to play loud music and over indulge. It is however perfect for families who appreciates tranquility, love early morning nature walks and appreciate watching various species of birds, there are at last 3 species of sugarbirds that frequent the indigenous garden.
The entire house will be yours too occupy with exception to a flatlet that is separate to the house and occupied and reserved by the onsite manager. The flatlet is however available as an optional extra and can accommodate up to 2 guests as it is equipped with a queen size bed. Rate tbc.
You will have access to the property via the main gate that leads up the driveway to double garages. Your 1st access to the house will be from inside the garage, the door to the front left of the garage leads straight into the house, the door on the opposite side of the garage leads to the flatlet and is off limits unless otherwise arranged.
The onsite manager will show you where to find the keys and will help you familiarise yourself with the house. He is also available if you have any questions.
Once you are inside the house you will notice 5 doors leading out to the front of the or the house and and 3 leading to the pool entertainment area.There are also a doors in the children's room and from the main bedroom that leads into the garden. You will find instructions for the keys to all these doors on your arrival.
Interaction with guests
Hout Bay is a very friendly Village with people always willing to assist where possible so should you have any questions about the area or Cape Town we have no doubt you will be able to find someone willing to answer your questions. We will not be available during your stay as we will also be (URL HIDDEN) free to engage with the onsite manager, he will be more than happy to answer questions and make suggestions of things to do in the area and the greater Cape Town. He will respect your privacy during your stay, we ask that you do the same. You will have the sole use of the pool and garden area while you are visiting.
Other things to note
We do own dogs, but they will not be on the premises for the duration of your stay. Please keep this in mind with regards to allergies.
Please note that the property is not pet friendly for guests.

I have many places in the world that I would like to visist, discovering my Celtic Heritage mostly intrigues me. I'd also love to swim with Dolphins among some other things on my bucket list. When we travel we like staying in accommodation that has most of our home comforts all be they simplified.
