Eco or cosmopolitan holidays? Here both options are available! The residence is situated in the preserved settlement of Ypsila near the capital of Andros.
Tranquil Chateau was built in the early decades of 19th century and was abandoned in the mid 20th. In 2005 was fully restored according to the traditional technique which involves stone, clay and wood as construction materials.
Entering the property, a stone staircase leads to the main entrance of the house on the first floor; wooden floors, the attic and the traditional ceiling are some of the features that initially draw the attention.
The residence owns a separate garden of 1600 m². In the garden are situated a fully equipped stone-built barbecue and oven on a 25 m² terrace with sea view. In the garden one can find olive trees as well as various fruit trees. Surrounding the garden are platanus, walnuts, figs and oaks trees.
Suitable for hikers as the residence lays on the main path(trail no.9) of the island.
