This is a great place in a great location. So much space, a great kitchen, an easy walk to downtown Palo Alto.

This home was the perfect Palo Alto base for me during a four day conference at Stanford. Sarah made check-in and check-out a breeze, and provided tons of other helpful information for my stay. She generously offered use of her bicycle which saved me at least 1 hour of walking time daily. The home was beautiful, comfortable and I found everything there that I might need. I hope to return, Thanks Sarah!

This cozy historic charmer is just as it says. From the minute we walked in through the door we were charmed. Everything was perfect. Although we didn't cook meals here, it had a well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and although entering the shower would be precarious for someone older or with a disability, we found it to not be a problem at all and actually quite quaint. The location was for me the best part. A block from the park and a short walk to Whole Foods, my favorite store, which I frequented at least once a day. I would not hesitate to book this place again in the future. Sarah was the perfect host and communication with her was a breeze.

We stayed for two nights and loved the place. It is exactly the way Sarah describes it, "historic charmer".

We stayed at Sara's place for 3 nights. We didn't meet Sara but she was in contact at all times. The best of this place is the location, very convenient, near to University Ave. We had problem with the water closet by the kitchen and Sara sent someone the next day and actually changed it (it was old and floating stopper was disconnected). I don't mind the place being old but I wish she would provide newer bed sheets, beddings, absorbable towels, floor mat and basic spices (like salt and pepper).

Sarah's "Cozy Historic Charmer" was everything we hoped for and more! We enjoyed its open, light-filled, well-designed interiors and unique artistic furnishings and art. Perfect location - we appreciated being able to easily walk to and from the Stanford campus, and so many great restaurants and coffee shops as well as Whole Foods. Our host surprised us by supplying coffee ground specifically to our tastes, and a generous gift card to a local coffeeshop. She provided helpful information and suggestions ahead of time (like transportation options & more) which made our trip run smoothly. I only wish one of us had known how to play her beautiful grand piano!

I am so glad you liked it! If your son ends up at Stanford, you'll know where you can stay while visiting him! All the best.
