I enjoyed the stay. Neighbourhood was peaceful and friendly with really good connections to city or airport. Vilma was very friendly host and even though we didn't share a language, we were able to communicate effectively.

Vilma made me feel right st home right away despite the language barrier. She was very actively engaged in finding a way to communicate so we both could understand each other. Her place is very nice, very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Frankfurt, totally worth the money

Vilma forgot that i'm coming at the time I said I was suppose to (though we spoke the night before) and forgot her phone. So I came and waited for half an hour before a guy who was staying at the house opened the door for me. Vilma only came at noon. The room wasn't ready, no beddings, no towel. I wanted to go to sleep after a long night and that was annoying. The first day Vilma was pleasant- shared with me her green smoothies and we chatted a lot. The second day, while I was cooking pasta in the kitchen (she said it's ok because we are not allowed to cook upstairs in the guest's kitchen)- she walked in, turned the fire on a low heat and put a lid to my pot. Meaning, interfered with the way I cook. I guess she didn't like me there, although it was allowed because she was very passive aggressive- saying I have to cook for everyone, not just for myself. 1. Who is "everyone"? Am I suppose to cook to people I don't know? from my own food that I bought for myself? 2. Last time I checked I was paying for an airbnb not a commune. When I was washing the dishes she told me that "in this house we save water to take care of the world" (I swear I know how to wash dishes, there's a difference between wasting water and making sure the soap is off). Finally, she asked me how was the Beyonce concert I went to the day before and after saying it was amazing, she felt the need to criticize me for going to concerts, saying that people who go to concerts are like people who are high on drugs and that we are psychotic and fanatic. She also felt the need to add offensive hand and face gestures to show the psychosis people who go to concerts (and me) are in. The kitchen upstairs is dirty, the sponge for cleaning the dishes is brown and with rips- it wasn't changed for ages. Thinking that i'm "cleaning" the dishes with that... wasn't fun. Vilma doesn't know any english, the house might be close to a tram station but is far away from the city meaning, going to a coffee shop will take at least 40 min. The house is dark, the atmosphere is heavy. I do not recommend staying at Vilma's.

Vilma zelf is zeer vriendelijk. Ze wil het haar gasten oprecht naar de zin maken en dat is wat mij betreft ook uitstekend gelukt!
