The location of this place is very safe, and a good retreat! When you come in your have your own scheculded enterance so you can come and go. They have christmas lights to guide you as you come in to your front door. Theres a table when you come in so you can drop your bags when you walk in the door. They also have a fridge that they frequently filled with water bottles which was nice. They also invited me dinner one night and gave me enchiladas! Which were delicious! Also I liked that they had a deeps shower with lots of space, little sink space though. The bed is a good size and theres even a desk with a journal to write your experiences in. All in all in was a very good stay!

We had such an amazing stay, awesome location and great parking! We enjoyed the modern decor and safe neighborhood! We brought our little pup and they were super accommodating and even left a water bowl upon arrival! We hope to stay here again the next time we are visiting!!!

My husband and I live in a humble home with our two children and my fluffy baby Leo Alfred. We love traveling and both have had wonderful experiences with Airbnb. Right now we can't travel as much as we are both working professionals in DC so we decided to host! We recently remodeled our basement and feel that it is a perfect private getaway outside of the city. We hope it builds character as guests bring it to life!
Food, outdoors, running, music and the arts, reading, traveling, yoga, and family and friends getting together are my favorite things to do. If I find time working on the garden and yard is my zen.

Our family is a wonderful mix of Lebanese, Italian, Salvadorean and Venezuelan roots.

I have traveled to many countries:
Lebanon
Italy
Venezuela
Costa Rica
Canada
France
Germany
Czech Republic
Spain
Gibraltar (UK)
Morocco
Turkey
Cyprus

When I travel I like to be deeply immersed in the local community, culture, food. I like living as a local. In my travels I have stayed with family or friends, or AirBnb, boutique hotels and hostels. I have never done an all inclusive resort/cruise trip -- feel too commercial for my taste. I prefer an adventure into the unknown and meeting the beautiful people that cross my path.

My favorite book of all time - The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

"When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." -- The Alchemist

"There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure." -- The Alchemist

“One day you will ask me which is more important? My life or yours? I will say mine and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life.” -- Khalil Gibran

“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.” --Dumbledore in Harry Potter
