We are nestled in our own little slice of pasture & woodland, & still within walking distance to Ironbridge and Broseley town. Briar is our studio apartment, it's a cosy home away from home, tastefully decorated, well equipped & a view of the woods.

The space

Set in 6.5acres of fields and woods Easthope coppice farm is our own little slice of tranquil countryside away from the lights and heavy traffic of the expanding Telford. We are within walking distance to Ironbridge and Broseley town centre, the national cycle route 55 is just on the doorstep.

Briar is our studio apartment, it is a open plan living space with a wet room. There is a well equipped kitchen or if you don't fancy cooking there are plenty of restaurants in the area that serve quality food and drink.
All your bedding and towels are provided, unfortunately we don't have any washing facilities but if needed there is a laundrette in Broseley.
We have wifi but please be aware we live in the countryside so it can be unreliable, there is a Dvd TV combi in your apartment, or on a clear night let the sky be your distraction.

Outside, Briar has its own little patio space, if you want to take in the views of the land we have two private picnic areas, just be sure to close the gates otherwise you will have our flock of Soay sheep joining you!
Being in a world heritage site there are plenty of museums to explore, slightly further a field are the historic towns Bridgnorth, much Wenlock and Shrewsbury.

Available for longer lets, we are close to the Southwater complex, Telford International centre and Wolverhampton university Telford campus.

Guest access

All we ask is that you please dont use the main houses patio and close the gates behind yourselves around the land.

A lovely clean unit which although smallish is very well fitted out and designed. Nice and quiet and easy walking distance to Ironbridge. Would certainly use again if we were in the area.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights, using it as a base whilst I attended a Tropic Skincare conference in the Telford Interenational Centre which was fifteen minutes drive away. It is a bijoux studio apartment, but very comfortable and well equipped. The ducks are friendly, and we saw a small newt on our pathway on the first night which was lovely, we like nature :-) We were just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge where there were some lovely shops and a pretty walk by the river. There was also a triple SSSI area over the bridge available for the public to walk through but we didn't have time to go there. We would return if in that area and needed somewhere just for the two of us. Unfortunately we didn't have time to complete the walk around the farm our hosts informed us about.

The apartment is in a beautiful spot. When sat outside you could be miles from anywhere but with the convenience of pubs, restaurants, shops and walks right on your doorstep along with Ironbridge and all the attractions that has to offer. You can stay here for a long weekend and not need to get in your car. The walk back from Ironbridge is fairly steep but we managed ok. The studio apartment makes really good use of the space and we were really impressed with how well kitted out the kitchen was. Sarah was very welcoming and I have no doubt we'll stay here again in the future although if it were more than three nights we would try to book the slightly larger 1 bed apartment.
