In the midst of the most picturesque part of the city centre, at walking distance from all the monuments, this is the quietest and most sunny apartment you can dream of.Handmade colorful design in a beautiful ancient building with a stunning terrace

The space

We wish you feel right at home, in a warm and functional environment which has been implemented with elegant simplicity… This flat has been chosen and thought out since the very beginning with the intention of welcoming travellers. It has been selected as a self-contained “nest” to enjoy one of the oldest and most lively areas of Rome, which goes by the name of Campo de’ Fiori from a silent and panoramic location.

Guest access

An apartment and a private terrace with 360° view on the roofs of Rome.
In a building of the 15th century, interiors were designed by an outstanding team of roman architects, contemporary artists, and talented craftsmen. They worked according to the following tenets:
-choosing solid and classical materials, which respect the local cultural values
-a desire for essential, minimalist lines, as opposed to a baroque style
-creating warmth through colours and comfort, to make for a lively place

Interaction with guests

I shall be available at any moment to give you informations and support for the most enjoyable trip.

Other things to note

You can access the apartment via a wide marble staircase.

This apartment was simply perfect. Close to EVERYTHING! Dafne and friends were so helpful. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

Great location. Small and quiet apartment. During a very hot week, the air conditioning worked really well. Be prepared for lots of stairs, but the view from the terrace is worth it.

The apartment is quite small - the second bed is on a balcony within the apartment, above the kitchen area. You can’t stand up on this balcony and have to crawl to the small mattress on the floor. I suspect the air con needs a service as it wasn’t quite hitting it’s advertised temperature but was a welcome relief from the July temperatures outside. The kitchen and apartment was well equipped, plenty of towels, cutlery, hair dryer, iron etc. A small TV though we didn’t use this. The main bed was exceptionally hard, so be warned, if you need a soft bed then this bed isn’t for you - though the mattress on the balcony above the kitchen is soft the air con in the kitchen is noisy (ish). The private roof terrace is up another set of stairs and is acessed through an entry way before the main shared terrace, this is the roof above the apartment itself (I believe). Slight shame is that the best view is round the corner from the communal terrace but it was nice to have a table and chairs to ourselves. The flat is doing well for it’s obvious use but there is some mould in the bathroom, where there is no extractor fan and not everyone will have opened the small window from the bathroom which looks out to other apartments. The flat is as advertised (if I recall) up on the fourth floor with no lift access so be prepared for this even after a long day of exploring. This wasn’t really an issue for us. Although the apartment is just round the corner from a busy market square (market by day, busy restaurants etc by night) the apartment itself is exceptionally quiet and peaceful at night. Helpfully you are also only round the corner from a Coop mini market as well. The main benefit for us of the apartment really was the location, you could not as for better in busy Rome. Whethe walking to the Vatican, Collessium or the many many sights in central Rome the apartment was perfectly placed, for this we would wholly recommend staying here.

The apartment offers modest comfort at a higher price. You are paying for the location. If several people are traveling together and are not interested in luxury then this apartment is central to everything, situated in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to markets, shops and restaurants and great for shorter stays. Overall, the apartment and building have great character, but suffer from obvious deferred maintenance.

Dafne's apartment was perfect for in the . The view from the terrace is amazing. The best part is the location! It's right off Campo De Fiori which is just perfect. It is a market by day where we could get fresh fruit then a lively social place at night. We tried 4 restaurants around the square and they were all fantastic. It was so nice after a long day of sight seeing to come back to our place and rest a bit then just walk to the square for dinner. Even though the apartment is in the center of (URL HIDDEN) very quiet wine it's off a small side street. Dafne and her assistant Ana, were so helpful with suggestions and they arranged for a car to take us to the airport. I'd stay here again. It's small but that is to be expected in a city in Europe. It is still way bigger than a hotel room. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
