Eilean Donan Annex is a bright comfortable self contained property adjoining the owners' bungalow. It is light, spacious and airy and fully equipped for two /three adults. Room for a cot or small third bed in bedroom and a sofa bed in lounge. Well positioned in a quiet cul de sac on edge of small village of Plean, just a few miles from Stirling and Falkirk. Motorway access for both Glasgow and Edinburgh only 5 minutes. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs approx. 40 minutes by car.
The annex has a front and back entrance, with ramp access for wheelchair users.
The L shaped lounge/dining area is comfortably furnished with 2 seater sofa, which converts to a 4ft double bed, armchair, TV with DVD, dining table and two chairs.
The bedroom has zip and link beds, providing option of a superking double or two full size single beds. Guests should advise which they prefer at time of booking. A travel cot or child's bed can be added to the bedroom to accommodate an extra small person. A TV, hairdryer and large mirror are provided for extra comfort. There is a spacious en suite wet room (powerful shower, wc, basin).
To the rear of the property is a galley kitchen, fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, electric cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The annex has gas central heating. Towels and bed linen are provided. Tea, coffee, sugar and a welcome pack will be in the kitchen on arrival. There is a garden area with table and chairs to rear for exclusive use of guests. It is very peaceful with views over the field to the country park.
We will do our best to greet guests on arrival to give you the key and make sure everything is OK. If we cannot be there in person, the key will be accessible, we'll leave some welcoming lights on and check you have all you need as soon as possible.
Interaction with guests
During your stay we'll be happy to help with any queries and give you suggestions of places to visit. Food items can be ordered in advance and put into the kitchen for your arrival.
Other things to note
The property is only 5 minutes from major motorway links.
Guests are allocated a parking space in the driveway at all times.
Local village shops have all essential groceries etc. with a choice of supermarkets nearby.
Visitors are asked to park sensibly to allow other cars in and out of the property and to be fairly quiet after 10.30pm.
Although the annex is ideally suited to two adults, it is possible to also accommodate a young child.
