Hi I’m Mary!
I love meeting people from around the world. Our travels have taken us all over America and to more than 20 countries around the globe. In the late 90’s we lived for about two years in the Dominican Republic. I have also loved being home, raising my kids, giving parties and opening our California home to friends who have stayed for months on their way to the next stop in their life journey. AirBnB Hosting offers us an opportunity to bring our passion for meeting people from around the globe and our passion for hospitality together. We hope we can help make your visit to California a great experience.
I have been an educator in the La Crescenta area for the last 16 years of my life, working with children in the public schools and at my church. Before that I was a television producer in Cleveland, Ohio. My husband Andy is the busy pastor of a local La Crescenta church. Part of his ministry includes leading mission teams to the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the Sierras. He speaks Spanish, and I am always learning. My daughter Holly is in and out of town; she often helps us with hosting while she's home in the summer. We are looking forward to our AirBnB adventure with you!
