Olivia was a fantastic host, and her apartment was wonderful. Cosy, super clean, amazing view all over, four balconies, a kitchen with everything you might need, fresh towels and linens... An amazing Airbnb experience!

Olivia was a fantastic host. Her apartment was exactly as described. What really stood out for us were all the windows and skylights with balconies off every room and the general open airy layout of the apartment. The location was great for us as well.

Olivia was very friendly, attentive and helpful host. She's very kind. Olivia, thanks a lot for you help and kindness! The flat itself is very cosy, calm and charming. There are a lot of toys, nice, interesting and strange things. There are a lot of books in English and Francais. And there's no TV, which was nice too. The flat is in the historical centre of Paris. For example you can walk to Opera by foot via picturesque streets. There a supermarket near the flat, a nice boulangerie, patisserie and other useful shops and POI. The buildig is ancient and thus has no elevator. For us it was very nice (we like fitness). BUT, it has a lot to fix (for us these things are critical): 1) All beds are very short. So, if you're 1,7 m or higher, keep this in mind. Double bed was short, but at least I can sleep on it. But beds in other rooms are suitable for kids, but not for adults. In fact I would reccomend to buy 2 or 3 new double beds. 2) The flat needs a total 100% cleaning (floors, balconies, furniture, beds, kitchen, bethroom and shower, fridge). It's a perfect and charming flat, but it wasn't clean when we arrived. 3) The flat has old and unnecessary (for travellers) things in wardrobe, which wasn't nice for me. But in fact, it's host's right to decide - what to store in the flat.

Response from Burton:
Very surprising commentary that I cannot let without answer. As always, the appartment had been cleaned for hours before the host's arrival. As always there are some personnal items stored and hidden in cupboards letting a lot of space for the host's luggage. And finally, the beds are standard. Nobody has ever complained. But I think Igor's expectations could be satisfied more by a modern standard hotel.

Olivia was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is on the top floor, so the view is amazing and the light is beautiful. We travelled with our 18 month old daughter, so the study/second bedroom was perfect for her.

My friend and I stayed in Olivia’s apartment for just over 2 months and everything about it was perfect. The apartment itself is beautiful, with plenty of light, lots of space and so much character and from the moment we arrived, it really felt like home. We used the bakery on the corner most days, getting delicious croissants for breakfast and having a supermarket opposite came in very handy. The local area offered many quirky cafes and bars as well as great restaurants and we couldn’t recommend it more. If you’re looking for a fabulous steak frites, we went to Bistro Renaissance four times and would happily go back for the fifth it was so good! Olivia herself was the perfect hostess, always so prompt at responding to any queries, had handfuls of recommendations for us and was always so kind and helpful - thank you so much Olivia, we would love to come back again!

Our family just passed a wonderful month on Rue Bouchardon in Olivia's apartment. While I have plenty to say about the place itself, I want to start off by both thanking Olivia, and recommending her in the strongest possible terms as a host. She was responsive at all times to questions and requests (both prior to and during our stay), went out of her way to bring in a high chair and bed for our little ones as well as two fans to keep us from melting, greeted us upon our arrival with water, fresh fruit and a chilled bottle of wine (all greatly appreciated, as it was outrageously hot on that day!), and left us with all sorts of helpful information about the neighborhood and things to do with our kids :) The apartment is, firstly, ideally located. There is a market with access to an excellent selection of cheese, wine, and produce right across the street, a bakery just up the street, a small grocery store across the street for basic needs (including those of an 11 month old), and a variety of restaurants in all directions (we really loved Ciacco on Rene Boulanger). An easy walk gets you to, among other things, some great coffee (Craft and Blackburn are both great), an outrageously good bakery (Du Pain et Des Idees) and the Canal St. Martin. The metro (numerous lines) is easy to access, and there are (for those who might have little ones to entertain) several excellent parks within a 10 minute walk (both Park Villemin and Square du Temple are great). As for the space itself, there is plenty of room and we felt quite comfortable at all times (we were 4, with a 4 yr old and an 11 month old). The kitchen is well-stocked (with both food and implements) and the views out the window from the kitchen table are outstanding (worth every one of the 118 steps :). It was, as mentioned above, quite hot for the bulk of our stay but, aside from the first few days, the apartment was quite comfortable. The windows open up on both sides and so we were able to get a great breeze going. Should life afford the opportunity, we would gladly come back to stay here again. Merci encore Olivia, et a bientot!
