Our spacious family holiday home, situated in a secure estate on the Keurbooms lagoon has direct access to the lagoon from the garden, with a stunning view towards Plettenberg Bay and upriver mountain views.
The house, surrounded by a large garden has airy, spacious living areas. The dining room table seats ten and is adjacent to an open plan kitchen with all mod cons. The lounge with DSTV leads onto a wide deck with table and chairs where you can enjoy watching the activities on the river.
Another large covered patio from the dining room has a built in braai, comfortable patio furniture and an eight seater table and chairs. The house has four double bedrooms and sleeps ten persons. Plenty of off road parking is available.
The house is let as a self catering home but with access to the garage restricted. Access to the estate is controlled by electronic gates and the access codes will be explained and given to the tenant before arrival.
A five minute walk along the lagoon edge will take you to a beautiful, long sandy beach where the iconic pansy shells may be found as you stroll along watching whales and dolphins at play.

Other things to note
There is a launching slipway thirty meters away and your personal mooring should you have a boat. A large swimming pool in the complex is available to you as well as a floodlit tennis court. The lagoon is ideal for canoeing, sailing, fishing and swimming. Water skiing is permitted upriver above the Keurbooms River bridge only. A boat licence is required and can be obtained from the local nature reserve authorities.
Running, cycling and mountain biking is very popular in the area. The Garden Route is well known for all its activities and adventure outings.
The sunsets are spectacular and if you are interested in bird life there is a large verity of birds in the area. Try sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the cry of the African fish eagle or watch the local osprey fishing for his breakfast.
During high season ie December to February, a 14 night stay over is required but should a tenant want to stay over the Christmas and new year period then a 21 night stay would be required
No pets are allowed in the complex and please no smoking in the house. This is our family holiday home so please respect it and treat it as you would your own. Please be considerate with your neighbours and keep the noise level down.
From Dec 11, 2017 - Jan 15, 2018 the minimum stay is 14 nights.
