House Rules

This is a treasured country home and contains some beautiful furniture. Full list of house rules will be provided but includes few basic rules eg keeping protection cover on the antique dining table, no smoking inside house, no texts or pens on leather lounges, cats ok inside, dogs outside.

Important Note re Internet

Tigrah has a Satellite Broadband Service which is on a limited data plan. This is very different to what you may have at home.

Whilst I recommend that you make the most of being out of contact, if you do want to connect to the Internet service there is an additional $70 fee. If you use all of the monthly data you will then be throttled under the service which can be very annoying. My recommendation is that if you want to connect to the internet you do so for emails mostly and not for big files, videos, new software etc etc.

If you want to connect to the Internet please let me know and I will make arrangements and provide passwords etc.

We had a lovely weekend at Tigrah farm. Steve the manager with his son is the only neighbour you have and a great guide and help. He gave us a ride in his ute to the river and horses which the kids enjoyed. When we were there, the river was to strong and high to swim in, otherwise it would have been a great activity. We did some easy horseriding in the garden for our little ones and because I have good expierence, Steve took me outside for a fantastic horse ride. All together, I will descripe Tigrah as a fun relaxing place for family time. There is some toys for the children as well, books and games.

Kaaren was a great host. She was in contact as soon as we enquired about the booking and talked us through everything we could expect at Tigrah. She followed up as soon as we got back to make sure we enjoyed the stay. Kaaren also has a great farm manager on site who showed us around, provided inner tubes for going down the river, provided firewood, and took the kids horse riding in the yard. The house is comfortable, has a really nice kitchen, and outlook in all directions. All in all it was a great time up there. Tigrah is not that hard to get to but feels miles away being at the end of the road. Sunrises over the hills were spectacular. The river is gorgeous (even if we apparently saw it at quite a low level) Tigrah is definitely a very pleasant place to get away from everything !!
