La Casa dei Baiocchi is very comfortable, it has a beautiful view over the mountains and it is situated in the picturesque medieval village of Gavignano. It 's the ideal place for visiting the abbeys and castles of the many ancient villages of the Lazio region, enjoying all year long the many cultural events and the tasty local cuisine, hiking the surrounding mountains, relaxing in one of the biggest thermal springs of Italy (Fiuggi) where you can play golf or many other sports.
The apartment, with private entrance, is 2-storey.
On the first floor: a kitchen with fully functional fireplace, with pots and pottery in abundance, any other cooking facility available.
Next to the kitchen, a small bathroom with a washing machine.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads to the second floor: a large double bedroom with a wide window overlooking the valley and an ensuite bathroom with shower.
The short corridor, with large library with a choice of books available to guests, leads in the living room, with a sofa bed and to the oldest part of the apartment: a hallway with large antique wardrobe for guests, another single bedroom with a private bathroom with shower.

Anagni: (distance from Gavignano 15 km), known as the city of the Popes, for having given birth to four Popes and for a long time been the papal residence. In particular, the name of Anagni is linked to the event of Pope Boniface VIII and the episode known as 'the slap of Anagni'. Anagni, between August and September, is home to the 'Medieval and Renaissance Theatre Festival' and the 'Medieval Districts Parade' (18-26 August).
Segni: (distance from Gavignano 10 Km) has a history of about two thousand years, so that the first settlement in its territory date back to the Bronze Age. In summer it is a popular holiday resort. It is rich in monuments testifying its ancient origins. The last Sunday of October is celebrated the 'Feast of the Chestnut' that on 2007 has reached the 50th edition.
Palestrina: (distance from Gavignano 25 km) arises up the ancient city of Praeneste, a Latin city famous in ancient times for the Sanctuary of Fortuna Primigenia, sanctuary dedicated to the goddess of Fortuna Primigenia. In the sixteenth century the city was the birthplace of the composer Giovanni Pierluigi from Palestrina. Here too there are medieval parades and Palio.

From Gavignano you can reach Lepins Mountains, the wildest of Lazio. From their heights you enjoy unique landscapes, reachable by walking paths and trails marked by the CAI (Italian Alpin Club). On request, you can be guided on some old paths or Tratturi by one of our mountain guide, geologist and expert in climbing.
For lovers of shopping, the Outlet Village Valmontone, with about 6 million visitors per year and over 170 stores, it is considered the most visited outlets in Italy. It's 17 km from Gavignano.
For those who love to shop with family, near to the outlet there is the Rainbow Magicland Park a large amusement park that offers 35 attractions, three theatres, an ice rink and 28 restaurants.
