Great spot in the middle of the rolling hills of the South Island. Just the one night which we could happily of extended. Big spacious house with a great fire that warmed us up in minutes! Thank you Jane for making us super welcome and the boys loved the bacon and eggs in the morning, just to top it off! Will definitely be back. Warm Regards, Nick

Rothesay is a perfect place to stay near Duntroon on the Alps2Ocean cycle trip. It is a beautifully restored farm house with everything you need - comfortable beds, good log burner to warm you up, well provided kitchen, and the hot shower out in the cabin is fantastic. Jane is such a warm welcoming "hostess with the mostest" and made us very welcome. A delightful touch was the freshly baked chocolate cake provided to greet us. Highly recommend staying here.

Jane welcomed us with a lovely note and stopped by to make sure everything was fine after a bit. She left us blueberry muffins as a welcome! The house itself was fine; you can't expect an old farmhouse to be perfect! It was a little dusty, but other than that wonderful.
