Casa Cakchiquel is the cultural heritage of Panajachel.
Built in 1948 by the Swedish countess Aimee Spens, “El Cakchiquel” was one of the first accomodations on Lake Atitlán and hosted intellectuals like Che Guevara and Ingrid Bergman in the 1950's! We are located in the heart of Panajachel, right off Calle Santander. The room has a private bathroom with hot water and is for either 1 or 2 bed(s) and direct access to the porch and a beautiful garden area. Internet is courtesy of the house.
