Guest have access to all areas of the house when renting. There is modest space available in closets, refrigerator, kitchen/bathroom cabinets for guest items. I provide one house key for use and ask that guests park vehicle(s) in driveway and not on street.
Interaction with guests
I typically leave a key for guests to let themselves in upon arrival and leave in house upon departure. I rarely stop by the house, unless it's to pick up mail or an item from inside. If I do need access to house, I always give guests a heads up that I'm coming by.
Other things to note
My home is always clean and presentable for guests. However, if you need white glove cleanliness, nary a speck of dust in sight, please get a hotel.
All mature and responsible vacationers welcome. Courtesy for neighbors expected. No unregistered guests overnight, please.
NO PARTIES. No smoking indoors. Smoking permitted outside. Please use ashtray. No pets. No wild parties. No weapons. Please turn off all lights, set thermostat to 80 degrees in summer and 65 in winter when leaving the house. I ask guests not to move or rearrange furniture and to return to original spot if so. Upon departure, please strip beds and set linens to wash in clothes washer. Also, please load dishwasher with any dirtys and start as well as take trash out. Leave key on kitchen chopping block in kitchen upon departure.
Laugher, lover, singer & daughter of a simple man. I love dancing to live, local music. I enjoy SW Louisiana, its people, its food and embracing culture. I can't live without family, fresh salsa and strong belly-busting laughter. I'm the eldest of six children which means I'm used to caring for others and making sure everyone has just what they need. That explains my tendencies as a host. Life motto? No Regrets.
