Young "Missy" the daughter of the local blacksmith once played concert piano from this room whilst the locals gathered outside to listen. This 1927 home is loved by people around the world. Now guests stay in this lovely room.
We don't live on premises. This gives guests the freedom to enjoy this lovely building. We have a 24 hour intercom so we can be contacted 24/7
Your room and ensuite are all your own. You have tea and coffee making facilities in your room. You can also make a drink in the shared sun room/breakfast room
Interaction with guests
If aren't around when you need us we can be contacted on our intercom in our reception.
Other things to note
When you walk outside the front door you will find yourself across the road from one of the two famous bakeries of Ross. You are also part of the historic precinct of the village. After 5pm the village seems deserted as the only people around are those smart enough to stay in the village to enjoy all it has to offer
Our room is strictly for 1-2 people only. Our building isn't a party house, however this won't stop you from having a lovely time.
Sue and I enjoy history, old buildings, even old cars. We have been operating tourist accommodation in Ross Tasmania since 1987. We love the unique life style Ross has to offer. Can't beat finishing off the day with a red wine at our river bank frontage watching fish jumping and the water birds. You will love the serene tree lined streets and historic buildings as much as we do.
