We stayed only one night. However, it is well situated and the old city as well as restaurants were within walking distance. We parked our car in the parking lot and didn't need to use it during our stay, but we were really happy to have a parking place for the car since parking is very difficult otherwise. Thanks, Celine! We really enjoyed our stay.
We were a little worried when we saw the door on the street to Celine's place because it had some cracked glass. But when you actually step into the apartment, it is very nice. It is located very close to Old Quebec and all of the cool shops and restaurants. There is a problem with the temperature control in the apartment. It would get very dry at night and stuffy so it would make it difficult to sleep.
Celine's place is centrally located and has all you need for a quick get away. It was tastefully decorated with antique touches. The apartment can be a bit dark at times but she provides a lot of lamps but limited sockets Are available. It also lacks air circulation and I found it a bit dusty. There isn't a/c but she offers a fan and there is only one very small window. We were lucky that the weather was cool but the apartment was very stuffy when we arrived. The apartment is comfortable despite these small shortcomings. We loved our stay in Quebec City and enjoyed the neighbourhood!
Apartment is in a great location, and free parking is super to have in Quebec City, though the parking lot is about 5 blocks away from the apartment. The apartment is cute and perfect for one or two people, but it lacked some amenities. There was only one towel per person and the hair dryer only worked on European outlets, which Quebec City doesn't have. The apartment was a bit warm, and the windows don't open. If there was a way to cool the apartment other than a fan, that information wasn't provided to us. Also, TV only works if you have a Roku stick.
