We all had an excellent time at Mary's! Four of us (32-58) stayed and were able to climb all of the steps multiple times daily even after walking miles and miles and profuse drinking. Our glutes are still on fire. The apartment was hooked up with Mardi Gras decor and the fridge was stocked with cokes, mixer juice, water and local beer. Pretty cool. Mary is doing an awesome job at restoring the great historic building her properties are located in and gave us a tour with a lot of interesting facts. She was also very accessible by text or phone and answered all of our questions. The location is an interesting one; very central as a base camp in the french quarter and full of all sorts of folks at all hours of the night. I know people recommend ear plugs and eye covers (my dad and his lady friend used them in the main bedroom) but my husband and I would just walk and eat and drink until our bodies could have fallen asleep at a space rocket launch so the bass from the surrounding clubs worked to lull us asleep. There is great people watching from the balcony. It is definitely lively. We recommend the place highly to those seeking adventure.

Mary was an amazing host! Extremely responsive to any questions we had and very quick to help with any small issues. The apartment was even better than the pictures! All the beds were extremely comfortable, a PERFECT spot for entertaining. Definitely loud, but to be expected when staying right on Bourbon. Earplugs helped with the noise. The location can't be beat, close to anything we needed! Highly recommend staying in Mary's Bourbon St apartment for a great time in the heart of all the New Orleans fun :)

Mary was great!!! Showed us how everything worked, as staying in a building that old, there were some tricks to windows, doors etc. she took great care of us and was always just a text or call away. Love her and will be back!!!

Mary was a GREAT HOST!!!!! This was my first time using the AirBnB service so i admit to first skepticism but i read the previous review and said hey go for it! Westin, Sheraton, all were about the same price, but none offered the view and amenities that Mary offered. Fridge was stocked with bottled water, a variety of Beer, and soda. Kitchen and Apt was clean when i arrived, though i got into town really late Mary hung in there for me and waited for my arrival way past check in time. Aside from the 3 flights of stairs (old new orleans does not have elevators sorry) no worries. Beads were already there to throw, what else can i say.. Great Apt Great View Great Host

Mary was the best host, never have used Airbnb before so can't compare her to anyone I've had but I sure hope they are a lot like her. She's always available and has great tips and a awesome place. She was aware that my buddies and I were doing a guys trip and dropped of local beer and some spirits to keep us going. What I loved about Mary the most is when we arrived she greeted us with a hug, which made us feel like she was family not a host. I will most defiantly recommend Mary and her place.

Our first Airbnb experience was wonderful- thanks to Mary. She is the perfect host. If you want to experience the "real" Bourbon Street -stay in Mary's Bourbon Street Apt. The apt. was on the 3rd floor in the middle of Bourbon Street with a balcony. There were 4 of us (ages 31-60) and we all found the apt perfect. Mary responded quickly to all of my e-mail questions and was readily available during our stay. We even arrived to find the refrigerator stocked with all different types of beverages! The bedroom was large and roomy, bathroom and kitchen nice sized, and living room cozy with pull-out couch and large tv. The whole apt was clean and neat with plenty of towels, dishes, and anything else you may need during your stay. The balcony was the perfect size to sit, chat, sip coffee (PJ's coffee shop directly across the street) or other beverages, and watch the happenings on Bourbon street. It is very loud on Bourbon Street at night so we brought our earplugs and slept right through it. You do have to be able to climb up 3 sets of steps to get to the apt but it's great exercise! This apt is right in the middle of everything so we easily walked to restaurants and shops. There is no parking on Bourbon Street but Mary gave us a list of parking garages nearby that were in close walking distance. My sister-in-laws had never been to NOLA, so we tried to pack in everything- restaurants, bars, shops, trolley rides, cemetaries, ghost tour, Jazzfest, bike rides through the city, etc. all in 4 days. Mary's apt was the perfect hub for all of our events. We will definitely return to NOLA and will contact Mary to stay in her apt. again.
