Thank you Inga for your hospitality! We were driving along the coast and did not have a good idea of when we would be arriving. She was very flexible and kept in constant communication with us to make sure she was there when we arrived. Her house is beautiful - everything is very modern and new. The best part was breakfast in the morning. Having food ready in the morning is invaluable when you want to get on the road as soon as possible. Her place is a bit out of the way from Highway 1, but it's worth the trek to be able to experience what it's like to live in Iceland.

Igna was very communicative with directions and details regarding checking in. We arrived earlier than we had planned and she was there to greet us and orient us to the space. We had access to tea and coffee in the evening and she made us an amazing breakfast before we left, ensuring we were full for our long drive!

Inga provided us a spotless room and (shared) bathroom in her beautiful country home. She lives down a country road a good way away from the town, but she provided excellent directions and the road, though unpaved, is nothing a two-wheel-drive car like ours couldn't handle. Personally, Inga was very nice and accomodating, and she served us an incredible breakfast. We're very grateful for our stay here and would highly recommend it to any travellers!

We had a wonderful stay at Inga's beautiful oasis. The farm we stayed at was very impressive with plenty of trees and a wonderful garden. Inga was a fantastic host and told us all we wanted to learn about Icelandic culture. We also had a great, very abundant breakfast with freshly made pancakes by Inga. We got great tips for our further trip through Iceland, which made it all the more enjoyable. We highly recommend Inga's place for those who want to experience how it is to live in Iceland.

Thank you dear Magda & Nick for choosing our home to stay. It was a pleasure getting to know you. I was not the only one giving tips regarding trips - you were very helpful regarding my dream trip for which I am thankful. I wish you all the best in the future and hoping to see you again.

Inga was amazing, her house was clean and on some beautiful land. She was the best host we had in iceland, very accommodating and helped us decide where to go. Her family breeds icelandic horses, so there are beautiful horses all over the property. She also made us an amazing breakfast. When we visit the South of iceland again, we hope to stay at Inga's again.

Dear Al, Thank you for the kind words. It was also so nice to get to know you and you are so welcome back. I hope the pictures from your visit to Iceland are beautiful although you did not get the best weather.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Inga's farm, "Sperthil" just outside Hvolsvollur. The cozy room looked out on the horse pasture, and we were greeted by the birds in the morning. She made a delicious breakfast both days with many things to choose from. She also cooked dinner for the family and we paid a fair price for that extra. Inga is also a wealth of information about local sights, history and we had very informative conversations around the dining table. The location is a great point to access the south Coastal areas or head into the mountains.

We are a family of 6 persons. As the children grow older and move to Reykjavík for education the home gets more space. Therefore we decided to give Airbnb a try and offer two rooms in our home. I am a homoeopath, aromatherapist and a licensed Pratcitcal Nurse. I love cooking, gardening, animals, hiking, travelling, knitting, quilting and reading.
I hope the extra 20 km drive from road nr. 1 to us will be worth it.
I am looking forward meeting you!
