This spectacular unique artistic space can accommodate up to 12 (with the use of couches). Location: centre of the beast (Saint Laurent). Come take in the industrial charm and taste the real Montreal! Not suitable for kids :(

The space

A high ceiling, spacious (4,000 sq ft) loft, complete with an open concept, stainless steel kitchen, two dining areas, two living room areas, view of city skyline from bedrooms and greenery view from common area awaits travelling groups of friends for a comfy stay in the beating heart of the city.

All accommodations a-go including: new, fresh (clean) bedding, kitchen cook-ware and, even basic groceries, a dish-washer, a washing machine and dryer, big-screen cable TV with internet access, data-bank of movies and shows, as well as, high-speed wireless... the space can fit up to twelve (12) with the use of couches, eight if two per room for the enclosed bedrooms.

Located in the festival central on St. Laurent strip with cafe lounges, bars, restos, yoga studios, retail stores etc... The Mountain and surrounding parks is a mere seven minute walk as is Chinatown, Old Montreal, Downtown and St. Denis street. It must be mentioned that there is a nightclub two floors below and music rhythm is audible from 1am to 3am. Due to this, the space is also not zoned for events that may compete with the club such as parties. Contact me for any additional info. Additionally, I occupy the studio located just above the space and share the main front foyer, along with the bathroom with the loft so although you will have the whole space, our paths will inevitably cross.

Public Transit: Bus #24, Metro Stations: Sherbrooke and St. Laurent, Three Bixie stands nearby.

Guest access

Access to the entire loft but the washroom is also used by me when I am around (I have a unit on the floor above the loft).

Interaction with guests

I give guests all their privacy unless asked to show them around. I have made great friends with some, others I only saw on arrival and departure. It varies and depends on the guests.

Other things to note

For a unique Montreal experience shared with a group of your besties - this is the ticket. I must emphasize though, this is not a quiet street and not a quiet building. Families with young children are probably better off finding something more tranquil.

Tidy is always welcome. Respectful of all the property in rooms and in storage. Keeping the noise level down (neighbours can hear ya). No public events such as parties (zoning bylaws as this is in a club district). I have a unit just upstairs so I am readily available should you need anything.

This place was great for my group of friends to stay at. We planned a weekend trip to Montreal and found this place that could accommodate my group of 11. Pat was super helpful and communicative. She was able to accommodate our earliest arrival and our latest departure. She stopped by the first morning to greet all of us and brought welcome pastries for us as well. She also handed us a packet of places to go around Montreal. The living area was large enough for all of us to eat and play games. We were able to watch an episode of GOT (had to use a VPN) while we were there. I definitely recommend this place for a large group of people who plan on going out because this location is around so many different bars and clubs. We were able to do our pregames at this location before going out even. Then it was simple to just walk to our destination or even Uber. Big groups will find this spot enjoyable and be accommodating.

We had an amazing time in Montreal and it was all thanks to Pat! Not only was she readily available with a list of fun places to see, eat and drink at, but the apartment was perfect!! Our entire group of 9 people loved every minute of it. We all agreed it was the best airbnb any of us had stayed at. It's above a club so I wouldn't recommend for families with small kids. But for our group of 20-somethings, it was perfect and so so much fun. I would recommend to anyone looking for a huge, artsy apartment in a really cool part of town. Thanks Pat!

It's a huge, beautiful artsy loft it's so dreamy and perfectly located! Couldn't of asked for better! One of the hottest Montreal clubs is downstairs perfect if you want to go out and then walk a stairs home. If you donnât wish to go out you can barely hear the noise from the club, it's right in the heart of Montreal

What a great unique experience! Loved this artistic space with the tastefully appointed decor and TON of natural light. The kitchen is fit for a cooking show set ;) we enjoyed a wonderful home-made Christmas meal here (it also helped that there is a 24 hour grocery store next door). The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. Pat left little gifts in stockings for us on the pillows along with cards. This was a very nice touch! Truly gorgeous place and perfect for our family holiday getaway. As for the location: a true insight to Montreal's history and culture. This is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in North America and for a history buff, nothing could have been better located than this gem! The neighbourhood has EVERYTHING within a few steps of the front door. The holiday season saw the streets decadent with decoration and the neighbouring Prince Arthur street had a charming bonfire, X-mas market set up which made this trip even more sentimental. P.S if you are a Leonard Cohen fan: his home and favorite bagel diner are just up the block and across the street a local gallery features some expositions on his time living out his many years in this great neighbourhood. Next street over is Morderchai Richler's old stomping grounds. Wow. Just... wow!

Host - Pat was great, very helpful, A+ for effort and attitude. Overall: 4/5, good location, great host, space was nice but quality lacking for the price. Location - amazing and close to all nightlife/restaurants, slight annoyance that you have to go through bouncers to get into the apt at night. Apt - Good open space for a big group, but old and full of depreciated furniture, artsy in a way but dumpy in another. AC doesn't really work well, it was quite hot in August. One bathroom (we knew this going in) became a bit of a bottleneck for us. Shower head lacks pressure. Noise - lots of it before 3am but you should know this going in. Other: Don't use the hair dryer or you might risk short-circuiting the entire place as we lost power for a night.

We stayed here with a group of 12 for the Osheaga long weekend and we can't recommend Pat's loft highly enough! Great space, great host, great location - everything you could ask for really. Pat was very accommodating and responded quickly whenever we got in touch with her. This amazing loft was the highlight of our weekend and made the trip for everyone. Other reviewers aren't kidding when they say this place is jaw-dropping. If you have the chance, book Pat's loft right away!

We love to travel and love those who do as well. Have had the pleasure of using Air BnB from both ends and try best to meet a high standard of hosting.

Keen on cleanliness - so you can expect hospitality to be centred around providing a neat and orderly space with freshly washed, new bedding and comfy new pillows.

Very familiar with this city and all it has to offer so if you need any advice, reservations, or guest-list, will be happy to help out!

Looking forward to meeting new visitors to our exciting, vibrant city of Montreal.
