Classic lake side cottage with covered porch overlooking granite islands with hills beyond. Spend a quiet day kayaking and swimming or hiking the many trails in the vicinity. Then, in the evening enjoy the night life of Camden minuets away.
With cooler weather Loon Cottage is made warm and cozy with the wood stove, electric heaters and an electric blanket on the master bed.
I am happy to meet you at the cottage and answer any questions in person or you can let yourself in. I leave the door unlocked for your arrival and have a key inside on the kitchen table for your use. Please leave the door unlocked when you leave. Thank you. Lisa
You have access to the whole property including the dock for boating and swimming.
Interaction with guests
I can be reached easily during your stay and can advise on all sorts of activities and wonderful restaurants in the area. There are also brouchers and menues in the kitchen in a basket above the fridge for you to look through.
Other things to note
There is not a washer and dryer, but there is a clothes line. A laundromat can be found in Camden.
I hope you will treat the place as if it's your own, with love and respect!

I am an architectural & interior designer; an artist, a gardner and an avid tennis player. I love the outdoors and living in the great state of Maine! I have 2 grown children and 1 grandson. Midcoast Maine is such a vibrant community of artists, musicians and writers.
I love to share this amazing place!
I started Airbnbing in 2014 when my daughter left for a semester to live in Vietnam and I have loved meeting people from all over the world. It's fantastic to hear about the places that I someday hope to travel to!
