This is a very good sized, quiet home. Two cozy couches, a dishwasher, washer and dryer, sunny bedroom. Being on the northern edge of Ohio State's campus makes the neighborhood a very eclectic, cool mix of folks.
Like the majority of the homes in my neighborhood, my house was built in the early 1900's. I live in this space with a roommate, however, there is the possibility that you will have the place somewhat to yourself. She does stay with her boyfriend some evenings. I work at home during the week, but spend evenings at my partners house (very nearby). I have one queen sized bed and a super comfy couch. We don't currently have a tv in the living room, but we do have wi-fi.
You'll have access to the kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room and basement. We also have a front porch and small fenced in back yard.
Interaction with guests
I will always be available by phone, but may not be in town for the entirety of your stay. If I am not available, there will be someone else available to assist.
I expect someone to be respectful of the space, clean up after yourself if you make a mess, etc. I don't allow cigarette smoke in the house. If you have a pet, please message me and we can chat about it. I'm not opposed, but I'll want to discuss it first. I do love dogs! I prefer guests that are laid back, generally quiet and independent. This isn't a good spot to stay if you plan on partying, as we get up pretty early on the weekdays. Grad students, folks visiting for work, or looking at OSU as a potential school make great candidates.
