The apartment is very nice and fantastically located! You can get mostly everywhere by food and a great bakery with delicious cinnamon rolls is just up the road. My friend and I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed Reykjavik and also the nicely furnished apartment.

You can't beat the location of this flat. It's literally steps from the main drag on Laugavegur and close proximity to many delicious bakeries and restaurants (get the cinnamon croissant from Braud & Co. Your life will be better for it). It is a little dusty and the front door sticks. You have to push in from the outside and pull out from the inside to get the lock to work. The wifi was not great - it wasn't even strong enough to successfully watch anything on the TV which is internet based. The ad also said there would be basic toiletries like shampoo and soap, but there weren't any. All-in-all, it was good for our needs, but a little TLC would go a long way!

Centrally located. Cozy. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Make sure to try the bakery up the street. Near a lot of restaurants and bars. Bonus is right around the corner for any grocery shopping needs. We found out that there is free parking up by the church. We would drive out to the countryside from here every single day. I would highly recommend this place. I noticed the other reviews were kind of nitpicky. I would have to say my expectations were met.

The apartment location was amazing - very central and so close to many lovely restaurants and cafes, also across the street from the brauf&co bakery. However - our host ignored us for our stay and did not contact me when I messaged him regarding check in - I was left guessing even after messaging him twice. The apartment also isn't very clean, with a lot of dust and grime under the bed, tables, and especially on the wiring under the tv. It seeks attention to detail has been missed. It was also about £100 (roughly 8000kroner) for a beautiful 4* hotel which next time and for future guests to Reykjavik I would suggest. The walls were also extremely thin so I could hear other guests walking and even brushing their teeth (it felt like they were IN MY ROOM!!!!!) I am sorry for poor review but I must be honest to other travellers so that they may have a better experience and better value for their money than I did.

This apartment is in a perfect location. We were able to walk out and be in the center of everything. If location is important to you, look no further. The apartment itself was nice. Large bathroom and comfy beds. The TV was connected to internet so we were able to play some music which was nice. One downside of this apartment is the noise from neighboring apartments. The walls are paper thin and it sounds like people from the other apartments are in the room with you. Overall, it was a great place to stay while in Reykjavik.
