This is a Dog friendly apartment and has the dog park at the end of the street. Your BFF is $25 each p/n for short term stay or $20 longer term.

I have travelled around the world as premium cabin crew with Emirates so I understand how little luxuries and creature comforts can make big impression on your experience in a city. Location, privacy and space can change a visit to a city to feel like a local experience which this creative space is perfectly suited for.
Also please note that the apartment is much larger and nicer (in my opinion) than the photos depict.
My large and bright apartment is fully furnished with a double bed, double futon and single bed all with luxury linen and towels included. The location is unbeatable for a weekend away in central Rushcutters Bay with all the parks, dining, galleries and nightlife all in walking distance. It's an older Art Deco style apartment with a high ceilings and creative energy. You are welcome to enjoy music and the privacy of your own corner position with no shared walls and personal entrance. Please keep smoking to outside which is a great excuse to take a bottle of wine from the bottle shop across the road down to the park and enjoy an evening picnic there. There is a complete kitchen with utensils however with Foodora delivering from all the best restaurants and the variety of spots in the area you will be more likely to use the apartment as a base and enjoy it to come to home to. There is a cafe downstairs for your morning coffee which you won't even know about as it is so peaceful in the apartment. It is a spacious L shaped layout and separated from neighbours with a private laneway and staircase entrance.
There is a new European washer/dryer in the bathroom and hanging rack as well. The bathroom is in original condition and comes with a shower over the bath.
It is bright and airy Art Deco with extra high ceilings, mezzanine lounge room and picture rails. The bathroom separates living areas from the bedroom/WIF in the L-shaped floor plan so you can easily have some privacy from your companions.
The apartment his filled with art, books, games and records which are welcome to help yourself to during your stay.
Guests can access all areas of the apartment excluding the walk in robe. Wifi, toiletries and fridge items are provided for your stay.

Other things to note
This is an older style & art deco apartment, a creative artistic space with a private entrance. There is no lift and the narrow staircase should be a consideration it you are travelling with a pram or have any mobility concerns.
LOCATION - Restaurants, cafes, bars, park, harbour, train station, markets.. all walking distance.
SIZE - Oversized 1 bedroom for the Eastern suburbs with high ceilings, separate lounge, dining and bedroom.
PRIVACY - Even though one side of the apartment faces the main road it is incredibly quiet. There is a private entrance and long L-shape design so you can escape the living area. You can make as much noise as you like at any time and you will not be disturbing anyone.
CREATIVE - The apartment has a lovely energy which is generally the first thing people mention. It is perfect for creative writing, reading and socialising. I prefer music and reading for entertainment so I do not have a tv. There is high speed internet and a 27" Mac Retina display set up with a guest account for Netflix that you are welcome to use. If you are requesting a long term stay please let me know if this is an issue and I can look at arranging a television for you.
CONVENIENT - washer/dryer, large fridge, convenience store, cafe and bottle shop and bus stop all next door.
ORIGINAL CONDITION - the original kitchen and bathroom are extremely dated. There is a breakfast bar which is great for entertaining however the kitchen is small/old. I mostly eat out or make single bowl dishes like a roast or casserole if I am entertaining.
ACCESS- the narrow / steep staircase entry is not ideal for small children or somebody with mobility issues.
UPKEEP - being such an old building it only takes a week before the place gets a little dusty and needs a vacuum. For long term tenants I would like to discuss arranging my cleaner so that the place stays sparkling.
The apartment is best for:
- SOLO TRAVELLERS who are writing books, painting or catching up on work and and looking for a peaceful place without distractions will love the space.
- SOCIAL COUPLES who want some extra space to entertain Sydney friends or just a handy location to enjoy the harbour, restaurants, galleries and bars will love the creative energy.
- CLOSE FRIENDS of 3+ people who want extra room to spread out and who can (respectfully) enjoy having no sound or neighbour constraints, Please note as it is a one bedroom you would need to be happy to share a bathroom and be in the open plan lounge area for 2nd sleeping area. If you are a social group of friends I would just ask that you leave the apartment how you found it as the cleaners do not appreciate extra garbage or mess from different bookings.
- BUSINESS you can enjoy the high speed wifi and spacious apartment above and organise to meet people for meetings in the cafe downstairs which has wifi from my apartment and quiet tables down the back for private discussions.
This apartment may not be best choice for these travellers:
- Young families and anyone with mobility issues as the entry stairs are quite narrow and steep.
- Romantic couple's planning weekend away with lots of time in bed. A modern hotel room with room service and tv in bed might be a better choice.
-Frequent flyers looking for modern comforts to rest only for a short layover. I used to work as cabin crew for Emirates for many years and whilst I would have loved to stay here on a holiday having a check in and lift when you only need a small room to sleep in would be more convenient.
If you are looking for an authentic Sydney stay you couldn't find a more central and yet peaceful location with the space and peace to unwind.
The apartment is very breezy and Sydney is mainly temperate however if there are extreme weather conditions in Sydney any older apartment will not be geared in the same way a modern hotel room will be. Ie. There is about a week during Summer I use the small portable AirConditioner for cooling down but it is not as effective as modern central AC. When there is extreme rain in Sydney, again not often, there are some small little ants that come through the bathroom vent, they leave just as quickly as they arrive. The small heaters I have are definitely enough to warm the entire apartment as the thick walls maintain an ambient temperature inside. The apartment is on the same street as Rushcutters Bay/The Harbour so you will find that the conditions here always seem to be better with breeze and big tree's.
LONG TERM STAYS: I do my own laundry but if this is something you want to outsource my cleaners can arrange this for you at an extra cost.
Please note that my border collie Oscar often stays in this apartment so whilst clean and hair free anyone with allergies should take note.
Very well behaved 4-legged best friends are welcome here for $25p/n so they can enjoy the beautiful dog park Rushcutters Bay next door.

• Property is for use of booked guests only and parties, noisy social gatherings are prohibited
• When absent from the property all windows and doors are to closed and locked to avoid security and water damage issues
• Smoking is prohibited inside
• Any breakages / damage to be reported
