Jayne's house is set down a track from Rose, the local village. The house is a very pretty cottage at the end of this, with no neighbours other than a house behind, which Jayne also rents out. My only regret was not spending a bit more time in the garden around the house during our stay. Jayne was very friendly and helpful with suggestions- we went to the Smuggler's Den pub on the first night for food on her recommendation, which was definitely worth the visit (although as Jayne said, worth booking ahead as it can get pretty busy). We both really enjoyed our stay, and even with the unreliable weather there was plenty to see and do.
Our stay with Jayne was much more than amazing, it is a quietful, peaceful house where you feel like at home. The location is unique, in The middle of The countryside but really close to The town of Rose and Perranporth. Every morning she prepares a very nice breakfast and even offered to cook us an english breakfast. She is really kind as well as her little dog Winston, a lovely creature always monkeying around in a funny way. Please also note that the bed was huge and more than comfortable! A pleasure!!!!!
This is a character property in a secluded location away from the hustle and bustle. The room was beautiful and clean with a superking bed. Jayne manages to combine being professional with a genuine homely welcome. This was what made it more enjoyable for us. And not forgetting the little dog, Winston. If she had a vacancy we would have stayed longer. It was a wrench to head home. It is a long track/lane to the house and I'm surprised anyone ever found it without help. The lane is quite rutted along some stretches.
