House was clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a drive from everything so make sure to get everything you need ahead of time, but private beach was great!! One day we did rent a pontoon around the corner at a campground which was fun.

Sheri was amazing! She contacted us immediately after we expressed interest and was extremely communicative! She answered all of our questions (was the location close to Old Forge, and some other question about the cottage). She also volunteered information about where to go and what cool things there were to do. Sheri went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with the place and our stay. Sadly we were unable to meet her and her husband because we did some crazy things (like hike into the woods in the dark, and then not stay...) but we had a blast! The cottage was a great central location for us to do what we wanted in the Adirondacks, but it is the kind of place you'd want to just stay at for a vacation! We will be back to just enjoy the area the next time, and we hope to meet our hosts!
