This beautiful house is tucked away and overlooking tall maples while still blocks away from the Commons and near to Cornell & IC. It's skylight matches the pitch of the roof and the interior has modern white walls mixed with warm wood floors.

The space

This house is very appropriately sized for a two bedroom. Although small in footprint, it spans 3 stories as it sits on a slope. With skylights both in the basement and the second floor basement it captures tons of natural light! Making your mornings easy.

On the ground level there is a full stocked kitchen, bathroom with tub and toiletries, and living room with wide views onto the maple trees. Often you see deer making laps around these trees, especially in the morning! Upstairs is a very large open bedroom which includes a reading area before the bed. The skylight is pitched and runs the length of the entire house. Healthy wood floors run throughout the house.

The basement has a TV room, & office + laundry room with a separate entrance also to the backyard.

The sheets and towels, as expected will be fresh as this is something I find to be very important.

Note: I can accommodate up to 4-5 guests but please know that the second bed is an air mattress placed in the TV room & a pullout couch in the living room. The third bed can be a queen sized air mattress placed in the TV room downstairs. There is also a fourth bedroom technically with a twin sized bed.

Guest access

Guest will have access to the entire house, including the backyard.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming house which truly feels like a light-filled treehouse in the woods, but still 2 minutes from downtown Ithaca. On arrival, detailed instructions for the house and recommendations for things to do in the area were left for us on the kitchen counter. Plus a beautiful bottle of wine. Few issues arose during our stay and Mei Lan was in contact just to make sure everything was going well and to answer any questions we might have had.

Absolutely perfect. Mei-Lan and Zeke thought of everything. So close to town, but tucked away in magical tree serenity. Thank you again !

The house was beautiful and every single detail thought of. We stayed there two nights and the home is architecturally exquisite. The neighborhood is charming and peaceful and a lovely walk to the downtown commons area. Mei-Lan was in constant communication, anticipated our every need without being overbearing. They truly opened their home to us and it was a very warm and comfortable stay.
