This modern, well-appointed, and fully licensed Guest Studio was recently renovated and newly furnished with our guests' every comfort, need, and privacy in mind.
The location is ideal as we are within a short walking distance of great shops, restaurants, cafés, yoga, grocery stores, parks, etc...

Our private, Guest House is impeccably clean and well appointed. Everything from 100% cotton linens, towels and terry cloth robes will be provided along with goose-down comforters and pillows, natural bath products, a welcome basket with healthy snacks, coffee, tea, local guidebooks, etc... We also have a flat screen HDTV, high-speed WIFI internet access and brand new a Air Conditioning system.
Guests will have access to the Guest Studio and all of its amenities as well as the newly landscaped back yard and patio with gas fire pit + seating for four as well an outdoor dining area, gas BBQ, bocce ball court, ping pong table and private, warm water outdoor shower.
Guests will be also be provided with residential parking permits as parking in our neighborhood is restricted to residents and their guests only.
Housekeeping and laundry services can be made available during your stay for an additional fee.
Interaction with guests
We can greet you upon arrival and will be available to answer any questions throughout your stay.
Please Note: this is a "Home Sharing" arrangement. So while guests will have their own entrance and total privacy, we do live in the main house on the property and my husband works in the studio adjacent to the Guest Studio, thus you may see us coming or going throughout the day.

PLEASE NOTE: “On May 12, 2015, the Santa Monica City Council adopted the Home-Sharing Ordinance reiterating its ban on the rental of entire units as vacation rentals. The Home-Sharing Ordinance also legalized the short term rental of a portion of a person’s home when the host lives on-site throughout the visitor’s stay and when the host obtains a business license. Hosts are also required to collect and remit Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) if not collected and remitted by the hosting platform.”

So please, no smoking, no pets, no eating out of the kitchen or dining area and no parties or loud noise of any kind. My husband and I are designers (graphic + architectural) and parents to two wonderful teenage girls. I also own a local boutique offering gifts + home accessories.
Our oldest daughter has recently gone off to college so we are renting rooms in our house to supplement her tuition and because we love hosting!
We like to visit friends and family in Northern California and Hawaii whenever possible.
