This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy Hong Kong.

The space

It's a pleasure living here with the great and entirely private roof terrace just steps away. Relaxing outside in comfort at your whim is a rare treat in Hong Kong.

*Private Roof Terrace*
The beautiful and leafy outdoor space features a spacious and relaxing rattan lounge furniture set along with a specialty summer hand-woven hammock from Mexico. Enjoy the space in comfort with an oscillating, ionizing and *misting* fan for the summer months. The terrace also features an extremely convenient new LG washer/dryer (loads up to 8kg/4kg respectively).

Then inside is a bright and beautiful living room, a master bedroom with queen bed, a second bedroom/study, large-countered bathroom, and kitchen. Details below.

The flat also features blazing dual band 5G wifi with a top of line AC router.

*Bedrooms*
The flat features two bedrooms for up to 2 people each.

One is larger with a queen bed, window seat, and beautiful Muji storage system. This room comfortably sleeps two adults.

The other room can either be a comfy second bedroom or study. As a bedroom It would feature a comfy sofa bed sleeping ideally one (or two smaller people/children). It's 190x115 or almost exactly the size of a HK double bed. This room features a desk, chair and 27in 5K display retina iMac which guests can access regardless of configuration.

As a study (If the bed is unneeded), this room is left with the sofa up with a high end speaker system atop a small drawer.

*Air Quality*
Breathe deep and easily when you use the flat's new Air Purifying (with HEPA filter) Dehumidifier. This essential device eliminates allergens, dust and odor while keeping you drier and more comfortable.

*Living Space*
Has an extremely comfortable and spacious L-shaped couch perfect for watching movies and TV shows on the projector. To use the projector you will need a laptop which you will need to provide; however, all the other plugs (and speakers) are provided for both PC and Mac. Further instructions in the House Manual. The space also features a lovely bean-shaped teak coffee table entertainment system.

*Kitchen*
A decent size for Hong Kong standards, it allows you to cook comfortably if you wish. It is stocked with cookware basics and dinnerware for 4 including bowls, plates, wine glasses, water glasses and coffee mugs. Guests have access to the Nespresso machine and milk frother and will be provided with some capsules.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the entire flat. The roof terrace is entirely private and entirely yours! Of course all of the inside you have access to as well.

Interaction with guests

Unfortunately we will most likely not meet in person as the flat is usually available because I'm out of town. So I'll be leaving the keys in a secure location which you will gain access to once you accept the reservation and will arrange with my cleaner if anything further is needed.

A sheet (the House Manual) with some house tips and instructions is provided to assist you with things around the house like the hot water heater, outdoor maintenance, and projector. Please read it carefully upon arrival and keep it handy during your stay.

I would like my home to be yours and would ask that you respect it like you would your own. Unfortunately, no parties and no loud music, especially in the evening as the neighbors deserve some peace.

Additionally, the terrace area is rare, beautiful and lovely and I very much would like it to remain that way. So it must be properly cared for with preventative measures taken. Please tidy up the terrace immediately after using it (no exceptions when food or beverages are involved) and under no circumstances leave food or beverages outside after you've finished them.

Thanks!

Great location for a city trip, very supporting host. Good place to gather and relax in a bustling scene. Also good for a longer stay. The terrace is the highlight.

We had a great stay at Peter's place. This is a terrific little apartment that met our needs quite comfortably. We are a family of four (albeit with two younger children), and as most would know Hong Kong apartments are very small by western standards, but this place was more than adequate for us, and the terrace offers some breakout space if you really need it. Couples ought to find it comparatively spacious. Being on the first floor you are quickly out of the building and onto the street to start your day and transport links are very close. I was surprised to find that we all slept so well, given the hustle and bustle only metres away. The neighbourhood and the sights to be appreciated from the terrace are classic Hong Kong. Complete chaos at street level, cars, buses, people everywhere, eateries, stores, neon etc. Looking above, towering apartment buildings all around with their peeling paint and clothes drying outside everywhere. I loved that because it was a genuine experience. If you want generic hotel accommodation indistinguishable from any major city in the world then this is probably not for you, but I thought it was brilliant and memorable, exactly what a holiday should be. The kitchen appliances are clean and modern, should you care to use them, but really there are so many food options on the street it is hardly worth it. There is a Wellcome supermarket only two minutes away, if you need to stock up. Peter was very informative prior to arrival and took the time to greet us personally to show us around. He set in place support for us should we have needed it during our stay, although it proved to be unnecessary. The only recommendation I would make is to take advantage of the projector and bring with you a compatible device to play some movies, as there is no TV/DVD in the apartment. This didn't matter to us as we arrived back late every night exhausted, but it could be a consideration for some. Also the hot water system in the shower may take some getting used to, but some experimentation is all that is required. We had an issue with the main air conditioner. Probably a fault with the remote, but we couldn't always get it working. In saying that both bedrooms have their own air conditioners and with both running it can flush the entire apartment so you don't really need the main unit. The new washer/dryer on the terrace was a godsend. We arrived from a week of touring in Japan fully laden with laundry so the convenience of this cannot be underestimated. In summary this is an excellent apartment and base for visiting Hong Kong. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Thanks Peter!

Peter was great at communicating with us before, during and even after our stay. He left water bottles for our arrival and fresh clean linen. Great location, within walking distance of many sights and things to do. Nice outdoor area - although there is an unfortunate smell in the area :-( 1 bedroom is a good size for 2 people but the 2nd room is best for just 1. Great stay, thanks Peter!
