We have had a really great time at the Apartment of Beatrice. It is very well located within walking distance of the main attractions in the city. The apartment is very spacious and easily holds six adults. The huge terrace was a bonus. We watched a Napoli football match just outside the building on the square in front, this was a very nice experience in itself. We were only among very enthusiastic locals. Thanks Beatrice!

The building is nice and Barrio Español is quite centric. The apartment has a big nice gardened terrace, easy to use and connected to kitchen and rooms. We went in august and was really hot, even in the night...

On the positive side is the excellent location, nice terrasse (no really view though), apartment layout and wifi. On the flip side, forget about sleep. The matrasses provided is a disgrace. One double bd contained 3 layers of various slim and slagging 10 cm matrasses which didn't even cover the breadth of the bed. The other double bed had a matrass as hard as vesuvian lava stone. If you are over forty, then flee. Bathrooms fixtures were not fixtures - impossible to hold the shower head and the doors and panels kept swaying. If I figure out how to add the pictures then I will do so.

Response from Beatrice:
Hi Christian, of course this is just the expression of your negative personal advise: 1) the view from the terrace on the building roofs and on both the Castle Sant'Elmo and the Certosa San Martino are generally considered beautiful and characteristics. 2) there are people preferring hard, medium or soft mattresses. A host cannot change mattress for every guest. The two bedrooms have two different types of mattresses, then they can meet at least two choices. 3) Every age guests have been hosted at the house. It is really curious that for over forty there should be problems. There is no restrictions of age on the well disposal and well being. 4) There is a bathroom with the shower only and a bathroom with the bathtub, the latter does not provide the shower head fixing and there is a simple movable folding panel on one side, which can be used for avoiding the water drop falling. If there is something broken or not working guests are pleased to kindly inform me, as it is required by the rules of the house. Regards. Beatrice Faggiano

We loved the neighbourhood and the spacious apartement. Especially the terrace. However, The interior of the apartement could be better. The is enough space to improve it.

We were met by a non English speaking housekeeper. she was very friendly but didn't understand us. Hence, we didn't get any instructions for the apartment. The terrace on this apartment was huge and we spent our evenings there. There was space for the children to spread out on this terrace. The apartment was large and easily held 3 adults and three children. Very unique building. This neighborhood is in the Spanish district and feels like an authentic Italian neighborhood. If there was airconditioning we never found it, but felt safe sleeping with all the terrace doors open. The neighborhood can get loud with scooter noises, but adds to the atmosphere of the setting. We were surrounded by markets and cafes.
