A 5min walk to town and i-site, a short drive to Hobbiton, the house is very centrally located to town and nearby shops, services and attractions!
The space
A lovely new airbnb listing in 2024, a clean and beautiful modern 3 bedroom home only 18 months old. A relaxing quiet space, fully fenced and private, with all day sun and a gorgeous sunset from the outdoor patio. Enjoy the last of the sun till late while you relax, wine and dine, and sit and chat outside. A bright, fresh and ultra clean home with brand new decor throughout and superior finishing's. Double glazed windows for extra warmth in winter, 2x heatpumps/air-con units, both day and night roller blinds throughout, open plan living with a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow - you will feel instantly relaxed the moment you walk through the door!
Matamata Visitor Information Centre (i-site) is a quick 5 minute walk away with tours leaving for Hobbition daily from 11am. It's an easy walk into town for either breakfast, lunch or dinner with many lovely cafes and restaurants to choose from and many great local shops and gift stores to check out - a very central location without the need to drive.
The house has Sky TV, Netflix, Disney and Freeview channels at your fingertips, games and entertainment for everyone, a large comfy couch which extends allowing you to put your legs up and relax, lots of fluffy pillows and throws, heat pump/air-conditioning units - you'll be so comfortable you won't want to leave!
An open plan space with a large 6 seater dining table, bar stools and beautiful kitchen fully equipped, modern appliances, dishwasher, bosch oven and gas cooktop, microwave, fridge/freezer, and your very own coffee bar which includes a Nespresso coffee machine, a starter set of coffee capsules, other selections of coffees and teas, and breakfast cereals including a gluten free option are provided for your enjoyment during your stay.
If your booking is for 2 or more nights, a homemade baked bread with butter and a selection of spreads will also be provided.
There are three bedrooms tastefully decorated throughout the property. Bedroom 1 has a king bed with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite, as well as a heat pump/air-conditioning unit. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a large wardrobe, and bedroom 3 has two singles and a large wardrobe, as well as a private workspace for business, or a space for the kids to draw and have some quiet time. There are luggage racks for your suitcases, and we also have a Porta Cot available on request.
All bedrooms have black out blinds which means you can finally get the sleep in you deserve. All main rooms in the house are fitted with both day and night blinds.
The couch in the lounge is also a fold out double sofa bed so should your booking be for up-to 8 guests then 2 guests would use the sofa bed for sleeping. Alternatively a single fold out bed can be made up on request for a child if a group of 7.
The main bathroom in the house has a shower and a bath. There is also an en-suite in Bedroom 1. Both bathrooms have body wash, shampoo and conditioner for your use. There is a hairdryer available in the top drawer of the main bathroom.
There is a separate laundry room within the house and a washing machine available. Laundry powder and fabric softener are conveniently available for your use. Pegs and a washing basket are provided, a full clothesline is outside the laundry room which has its own exit door.
With a fully fenced safe and private section this property is ideally setup and located for families, with a trampoline and room for the kids to run around, a large driveway offering plenty of space to bring along their scooters and bikes. There are board games, cards, puzzles and drawing books, as well as some board games for adults to enjoy a laugh together. This house is also perfect for couples who just want a private getaway or travelling through, general events and wedding groups needing a place to relax before and after the celebrations, and if travelling here for business.
A great outdoor patio space with outdoor dining, BBQ for summer dinners, and outdoor gas heater to keep warm on those cooler nights.
Guest access
You will have full access to all aspects of the home (with the exception of the locked garage). A lovely modern space and fully fenced for privacy, with a lock-box for self check-in.
Head down the long (lane) driveway towards the large black slider gate. Parking anywhere beside the house, with space suitable for 1-2 vehicles. To avoid backing out of the driveway, there is a turning bay to back into allowing you to turn your car around and drive out forward.
There are also 3 parking spaces on the road.
Other things to note
Although there is the option to bring along your furry friend, we can only accommodate having a small dog stay, however no puppies if they are not toilet trained yet. This property is not suitable for a large dog.
You must bring along your dog's bedding, and they are not to sleep on any of the beds or furniture. If it has been raining we ask you please bring along a towel and ensure you wipe your dogs paws before allowing them into the house. It is an unfamiliar property for your pet and there is no doggy door, so please do not leave your dog at the property alone.
We ask that you kindly respect these rules as we do not want to be cleaning dirty paw marks throughout the house and unwelcome stains from your dog. Further information will be asked about your pet upon your booking, thank you.
Smoking Policy
Tui Lane Holiday Home is a non-smoking and non-vaping environment. If you need to smoke/vape, kindly do so outside. There is an ashtray available under the kitchen sink for use outside only. Please do not throw butts on the ground, kindly place in the ashtray provided.
Methamphetamine Alarm
There is a methamphetamine detection alarm installed inside the home, we will not tolerate methamphetamine anywhere on the property.
Exterior Camera
There is a security camera monitoring the lane driveway which is automatically set to monitor any movement during the evenings for your security.
Parties/Gatherings Exceeding Max No. of Guests
Please note that we do not allow parties or gatherings at Tui Lane Holiday Home. The number of guests you have advised us that will be at the house are not to exceed that number, unless updating your booking with actual guest numbers staying at the property (maximum 8), or discussing any other intentions with us prior.
